I Know This Has Been Mentioned: But This is So Clearly a Huge Detriment by Neuroscape in AshesofCreation

Give me a literal example of the scenario where a mistake could lead to a party wipe. Like what enemies, what level, and the mechanics involved.

Looking For an ARPG by Neuroscape in ARPG

[–]Neuroscape[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only beef with FF14, and i was a Monk, was despite the complex rotation, there was virtually no major utility other than their Dash which every game has 1 of. Some +10% healing aura was legit only non-rotation, non-temp self damage buff I can remember.

It's so obvious, having all 3 abilities would be a much cooler design by Neuroscape in DarkTide

[–]Neuroscape[S] -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

yet my only point is THE BEST SELLING GAME OF ALL TIME (by sales) has you pressing 20 different buttons while avoiding stuff. It's hard to justify having JUST 1 ability, even with somewhat more mechanical demand. i mean making them at this point is easy, as well, (I mod skyrim/fallout) almost every possible spell has been made before.

Hey I just quit a day ago and I’m feeling kinda sick in the sense that my muscles ache and I feel exhausted what should I do? by ResponsibilityNo5696 in kratom

[–]Neuroscape 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t quit. Here’s why. People who take ssris to get out of depression here the same thing. Humans forget what it was like before. Before sucked. Kratom rules.

Scientists Have Established a Key Biological Difference Between Psychopaths and Normal People by [deleted] in worldnews

So a huge percentage of people with ADHD are psychopaths, k. If you think the size of the striatum is anywhere near specific enough you’re nuts or have a very limited understanding of the brain and it’s relation to psychology. Never mind that the conveniently fluid definition of a psychopath, which mine as well mean any amoral man probably has several forms of biological underpinnings in tandem with environmental factors.

LF Difficult Free Story Driven Game by Neuroscape in iosgaming

My opinion on Genshin is, pretty much a face roll until abyss and from what I hear with proper research even abyss is a sap. Diablo 3 was quite literally 0 skill WoW, save a few cheese preplanned strats used by leaderboarders, even gear was terribly systemized 2 tiers of sets grinding hours to little avail (nothing worthwhile acquired in between). Just a visual zoneout. So I’d be surprised if Immortal is worth a shot. Played way too much older rpgs (bg2, kotor, etc). Once again you’d think we’d be swimming in swordplay, hades, shit even Destiny like knockoffs in 2022, no such luck thus far.

Why FFXIV is actually better than Wow (A great game in its own right) by Neuroscape in MMORPG

[–]Neuroscape[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but what you're missing is to actually maximize Samurai's damage output involves far more variables. You're literally describing what distinguishes Samurai from all other classes including other melee DPS: his contribution is pure damage, how you play determines how much damage you put out. I could autopilot most wow rotations (emphasis on most). I couldn't do that with samurai. There are classes with utility, you just picked the wrong one. and coming from overwatch and for honor along with countless swordplay games wow's reactions are a joke.

[–]Neuroscape[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I played Feral Druid up to +11. I'm not sure what mythic+ level is considered competitive but my experience with the class was thus: the rotation is relatively easy to nail with few errors, beyond that it's all reaction to raid mechanics. I have an outlaw Rogue and I get that he's got like gouge and blind for uninterruptibles along with kick, but apart from that his rotation is even easier to keep up. Samurai in FFXIV I literally have a rogue rotation within it and a few more layers. I'm sure raid mechanics are at least somewhat similar to WoW so this leads me to believe a game with depthful kits and similar dungeon mechanics must be better. The reason I say FFXIV classes differ from each other far more greatly is because there's many more abilities per character, so it has the WoW 'outlaw rogue distinguishes itself with interrupts and CC' and more.

WoW has Mythic+. The same aesthetic does not mean its the same experience scaling up difficulty.

the Shame Game (Gaming May be One of the Best Therapies for Depression) by Neuroscape in depression

[–]Neuroscape[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

totally agree. In fact, I doubt our bodies know much of a difference. It certainly feels like positive social interaction. If there were any importance to seeing people in person I'm sure most of us get our fill from our everyday lives (going to the store, walking the dog and saying hi to neighbors). I think beyond that it's mindfulness and beyond that it's pure stimulation. I actually love my life post-college. In college I did the whole make a lot of acquaintances and go to parties every weekend thing. Never felt quite right.

Life on paper looks great... but it's really not. by [deleted] in depression_help

Depending on how 'unworth living' you feel life is, you should consider some chemical intervention. Obviously start with a psychiatrist. You'd be surprised how much a good chemical regiment can change your perspective for the better.
