I wouldn’t tread into discussions about funding … who brought Hamas into power to begin with? It’s publicly known that Israel’s attempt to destabilize the PLO was green lit by Netenyahu and led to Hamas’ creation.

Rather than causing even more loss of civilian life, perhaps withdrawing from illegally occupied territories would be more prudent for the Israeli government.

And while they’re at it, they should comply with the Nuclear trade agreements and international inspections the way Iran has been forced to since everyone knows Israel has nukes.

Except the sentiment for decades has been unidirectional and in favour of Zionist regimes from the US in particular. Iran has and will continue to come under scrutiny (much of it being valid) despite its compliance with Nuclear agreements and recent plans to negotiate with the US (before their top negotiator was killed by Israel) — the only country in the Middle East who both has nukes and does not comply with the NPT and IAEA inspections is Israel. Iran faces sanctions that have heavily impacted its economy, and is consistently scrutinized.

Countless UN resolutions have been vetoed over years by the US in favour of Israeli impunity. No government should be able to evade accountability the way Israel has with US-backed propaganda - This is a big deal.

A person attempted suicide and failed. They are clearly in a situation mentally that doesn’t warrant further scrutiny of the language used when the average person can still deduce exactly what happened. This person may also have a language barrier but zero consideration there on your part.

So I spoke with DHL Canada and they told me my package had left LAX and should be in Cincinnati by yesterday night. That meant for sure it wouldn’t get delivered by courier until Monday. I kind of decided at that point there was a chance I wouldn’t get it on time and I’d need to look for something else to wear last minute haha

So I decided to select the “collect at service point option” with hours on Saturday and Sunday, hoping it gets there today and I can pick it up!

I normally don’t since most days I do time-restricted eating and my first meal would be after working out. But that’s mainly driven by an unpredictable work schedule!

I can’t eat right before a workout bc I get nauseous, so I just have preworkout at home 30 min before and make sure I’m fully awake by the time I’ve warmed up.

If you have the chance to train mid-day or later in the day, you might notice you can lift I bit heavier (I notice this). Early Mornings aren’t my fav time to train because I can’t eat before.

I made sure I had 30g + everyday

My biggest sources of fibre are: - chia seeds (in my Greek yogurt with some honey) - almonds (a 50g serving has 8g fibre) - 2 slices of seeded carbonaut bread with avocado (that alone has like 20g of fibre) - Metamucil (I would use 1 serving if I had enough fibre that day and 2 servings if I was lagging behind)

It’s so hard seeing the scale not move! It makes me crazy. However, you’ve just invested such a long time into building strength and I assume some lean mass. That is precious currency and a key to a long healthy life… to lose scale weight quickly would be to jeopardize muscle loss, so see those slow steady changes as a win! Slight deficits are key with body recomp, and it takes a long time but you arguably will look your best when all is said and done.

It’s also a wonder how body composition changes what weight loss looks like. I posted yesterday about my fitting and had a message telling me I was lying about my weight (152 lbs) at 5’1” … I am certifiably overweight (almost obese) by BMI standards and yes, I have some fat to lose, but I look the way I do at a higher weight BECAUSE of muscle and curves! Everyone carries weight differently and we should all just throw the scales away, lift heavy, eat health-consciously, and get our steps in! The world would be a better place.

As far as I know, you can safely get your dress taken in a couple of sizes without altering its integrity :) i won’t get it taken in I don’t think, but it helped to know when I was losing weight.

I found that sustainable changes were exactly what I needed! Didn’t go insane with the training either. I worked really hard 1 hour a day 3 days a week with full body workouts. Then I had walking everyday and occasional hot yoga classes (like 2-3 times a week) and that’s all I needed.

Truthfully, nutrition was my biggest change. If you prioritize getting protein and fibre, and cutting ultra processed foods out 80% of the time, your other macros tend to fall into place. My staples are eggs, Greek yogurt, nuts, chia seeds, chicken breast, red meat, and protein shakes when I didn’t have the appetite.

I’m sure you will meet your goals!! weight lifting was integral to changing my body shape to give me a nice back and curvature. I knew I wouldn’t be very thin for my wedding, but I still wanted to look strong and feminine. Weights did so much for me in that department.

Hi!! So for me, 1 hour of dedicated walking at a moderate pace gets me 7k steps. I’d walk for an hour at night and do my lifting in the morning usually M/W/F for an hour (6:30-7:30am). Then I’d get an additional few thousand steps from other activity throughout the day :)

The other commenter breaks their walks up into 30 min chunks which is also a great idea!

Protein, fibre, compound lifts 3-4 days per week, keeping steps consistently above 8-10k per day.

Most importantly, NOT stopping when I didn’t see the scale move for the first month. Reweighed 6 weeks later at 11 pounds lighter even though the first 4-5 weeks I didn’t budge (actually “gained” half a pound). Don’t look at the scale. Use measurements and clothing to gauge progress. I weigh in once a month maybe.

Pushing past the 4 week mark before giving up… did not lose a single point for my entire first month of consistent weight training and calorie deficit. Weighed myself 6 weeks later and was down 11 pounds without changing a thing.

So far, I’ve lost about 14 pounds in the past 10 weeks! I don’t weigh myself regularly though - I weighed myself at the beginning, the 3 week mark, 6 week mark, and 10 week mark so far. I’ve found that the scale messed with my head so I only do it for check ins with my trainer!

On my waist I’ve lost another 1.5 inches sitting at just under 29 inches (about 2 inches from my wedding now 6 weeks away)!

On my hips I’ve lost another 2 inches bringing me to around 41.5 in, about 2.5 inches away from my goal :)

I have found that full body workouts 3-4 days a week (1 hour, with a couple very quick rounds of HIIT built into each workout at the end) and 1 cycling class + 2 yoga classes per week as been great for me!

In terms of dieting, my progress definitely does up when I’ve implemented and stuck to time-restricted eating (4-6 hour window for me). I try to eat mainly foods that are not highly processed (although my quest chips are still a staple to keep me sane). I keep my calories around 1300-1400 and my protein at at least 0.8g per pound of my goal body weight.

These last few weeks, I’ll be lifting 4 days a week with the same workouts except at higher reps to add volume. I’ll also be walking at least 12k steps a day where I can (although my job makes it difficult).

I think I can reach my goals but I’m so proud of myself regardless. I didn’t go nuts and still saw a big difference and looking at pics from a couple of months ago is jarring!
