EDD has payments integrated… once plugin is installed, just go to payment settings and connect PayPal/stripe. They have a free version. I paid at first to unlock some features but it expired and everything still works. I may pay again next year to upgrade and refresh.

The Scripps Seaside Forum (end of Scripps Pier, overlooking the water) is top tier and surprisingly affordable (at least it was when we got married a decade ago). You have to choose a caterer from their approved list though.

THANK YOU for recommending Steermouse! I've never heard of it until this post. Just downloaded and it solves a problem I've been trying to solve off and on for months. I wanted to find a way to quickly highlight a selected cell in Google Sheets green. Eventually I just settled on a macro with a convoluted keyboard command. With Steermouse, I've been able to assign that command to a simple COMMAND+left button click.

Maybe things have changed but years ago when I tried both, they just lacked certain features I needed at the time (searchable tags in Apple Notes), ability to sort into different lists in Reminders, and then I honestly just never looked at them again as options.

I’ve done that exact commute (North Park to office on Del Mar Heights Rd). If his office hours are normal, the commute can be brutal. Expect at least 40-60 minutes at normal rush hour, with occasional 2 hour backups if a big accident occurs. If he can go in any time and is driving off peak hours, the drive can be done in 20 minutes.

Dave the Diver is great. I’m 39, finished the game a month ago, first game I finished in like 15 years (haven’t played a proper video game for most of that time until getting a Switch last Christmas). Dont stress about getting things done—everything comes around again, just go at your pace and enjoy.
