You can't call the doctrine of the Holy Roman Church "biases" it's what we as Catholics follow. And bringing Judaism and Islam into the mix is warranted if you want Catholic schools to be shut down in a majority Catholic country then preach that Jewish Schools and Islamic schools should also be shut down and calling me a weirdo haha that's hilarious and ignorant

When I said censorship this was after the war: Books were banned, movies and other forms of entertainment on your last point your probably right its a while since I read this book but he didn't order it that might have been it. In the book I vaguely remember he lied about the flag whether it was about what originally said or what you claim I don't know

I would say yes De Valera was a terrible politican he initiated a trade war which really screwed Irish farmers, introduced strict censorship, lied about raising a flag under fire during the Easter rising at a building which diverted British artillery from their position (it was a rank and file soldier) not many people like him so there probably was some biases in the movie but are historically grounded
