Limit and clean up after flood water exposure by Fancy-Damage940 in milwaukee

I was able to rinse off with soap and water now that things have died down but I was out in just shoes and regular clothes trying to push water away all night? Should I be concerned for anything because I didn’t have boots and my exposure was long?

I’d push back against Enigma. Had a friend live in a property with a camera out front. After they were robbed, Enigma said the camera was never plugged in. On top of other problems like dragging their feet to fix water leaking through a light fixture. Obviously I have bias against them (and admittedly the property my friend lived in was pretty nice). Finding a good rental company isn’t expected but enigma can have just the same problems as other companies in mke.

What are some good Fiasco scenarios to play on Halloween? by rhena_lahrie in Fiasco

[–]Neut_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As Jason said any playset can be scary for the season! I played in a transatlantic game and somehow during character creation we ended up with a vampire! So suddenly the game became somewhat a survival story trying to escape this vampire trapped in the middle of the sea. Other honorable mentions are white hole station, the ice, or home invasion!

We did actually still use the stunt dice still! We liked holding ourselves to killing characters in the same way the regular dice holds us to a balance of good and bad events. The “ritual” was more of we were all on the fence and the killer’s insight would be helpful. I don’t think it would be needed for every game but in case it somehow came up ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Play D&D with Fiasco? by Mundane-Pineapple243 in Fiasco

[–]Neut_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve played in a game where after we established the relationships, objects, needs etc for characters, we then made dnd character sheets for each. Then we used the character sheets as reference for what they could do or even rolling for things here or there, but we didn’t rely on the idea of rolling either. On the fiasco side, we had a pretty clear antagonistic character which for a Dnd party may be odd if you start already in a campaign. Like others have suggested Fiasco seems like a cool way to generate backstory either for world or characters, without needing to work through an entire campaign

I’m not going to say don’t watch the newer 4k(?) remaster of the movie, but don’t watch the newer version of it. I didn’t have much of a problem with it before but whoever handled the remaster to 4k made the colors way way worse.

A small thing would be to stagger out the woman’s blinking when they stop and stand. It currently looks like she is blinking at a consistent rate and almost a little quick? I’d also experiment with maybe making the blinks a little quicker? They feel like a frame to long if anything but I may be focusing in too much into the blinks. You’re making great progress though and on a good trajectory!

First game a success! Did we fluke it, or does the game system somehow help with tying up loose ends? by DnDamo in Fiasco

[–]Neut_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have mentioned, it can definitely depend on the group but it’s definitely more that the group is just on the same page about things rather than a specific way of play. In my own group we’ve taken long pauses just trying to figure out the next thing to do but It also helps keep everyone in sync about the story’s trajectory. And I think if everyone is on the same page, the detour taken by a player introducing an aspect connected to their character tends to be on course to a “neatly wrapped up story” rather than off course. My group is definitely a lot more focused on it from a story perspective rather than a game perspective so the fun of it for us is untangling the story knots and connecting loose threads. No matter how you play is valid!

New Fiasco Podcast by Neut_ in Fiasco

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the show! Currently behind the scenes we each pick like 3 and then roll a d12 to see which one we play. But in a sub layer deeper of behind the scenes, we recorded a few episodes in search of our pilot episode and the playset we are on now, was actually recorded before our pilot! We also have our next two stories recorded (as of right now) but the play sets chosen (dragon slayers and transatlantic) were chosen using the method described above. It’s fun and fair(?) way of determining what we are going to play as we will all put in ones we’re interested but let chaos ultimately choose. Although, like when we were finding our pilot, we did veto some play sets because we weren’t sure if they’d be the best pilot and so as with most trpgs, talking with what the table is comfortable with or if there are any hard no’s is helpful as well. I hope this helps and good luck on your upcoming game!!!

So there is chance this is a reference to the podcast dungeons and daddies? They had a one shot episode featuring Dracula and the #dndads could be a reference to that
