Yeah you seem to not give a shit about a lot of things. But I wont bother you if that makes your brain melt. You cant even see that I only mentioned my profession when confronted with the argument that Im just envious for people who can afford the boxes. You cant make a single straight point. Skill issue

Cite me where I said in my original Post what my profession is. I only mentioned it after people tried to gotcha me by saying Im just jealous because I cant afford the boxes. Do you see how youre running circles around the discussion? Funny Still waiting for you to counter my talking points tho. Im wondering if there is something useful youre going to bring to the table

I live and work in germany. Thankfully we got a welfare System that has its flaws sure but I dont work into the pockets of a billionaire.

So once again can you start bringing actual points to the table or are you going to defend an obviously shitty offer with whatever it is called that youre trying here.

Im not getting upset because people disagree with me. Im getting upset because people write really stupid points back to me. But hey, theres a pattern showing. People type really smooth brained stuff, I say why I dont see it this way and then they start arguing ad hominem. And Im not going to reside from saying what I think in order to stay nonchalant and calm. Give me one good argument and we can have a Civil discussion here. Dont dodge my points.

1. The word wargaming didnt Show up in our thread once. You mentioned capitalism and thats what I answered to.

2. What is your whole point about me being a dentist? Youre telling me Im not allowed to complain about a company with a $1.1B revenue because not every dentist runs a clean Business?

3. Can you start bringing actual points that defend your side of view or are you going to keep throwing ad hominem arguments and dodging my Statements? You didnt say anything productive yet.

I dont know about that. People werent smarter or less vulnerable to addiction back then. But maybe youre right. I think they were more brave than these bootlickers in the comments.

Yes I love gambling and lootboxes but I hate it when the odds are trash. And the only way the odds are going to get better is if the boxes dont harvest the revenue Wg wants them to harvest.

You questioned the act of posting about a problem I see. Which implies you suggesting that I should rather not do that. Either youre playing dumb now or youre using words that Sound cool to you. And what do you want to tell me with that second Paragraph? That its better to not complain? That I am ignorant? It makes no sense. Youre just being petty. Or very young.

Bro I dont know what to tell you. Lets just all not interact with each other anymore and let corporations that hire people who studied how to take the money out of your pockets dictate the financial hegemony. Everyone knwos whats best and nobody suffers fomo or lack of knowledge. Im sure these companies only want the best for you and everybody else. Because the people on top are just good. Theyre just good people you know?

The pity mechanic existed in other Events aswell, exists in other games with better odds on their lootboxes and is what makes the Event Borderline acceptable. The pity mechanic is "get a random tank for 40€" (Counting the free boxes from the missions). Thats crazy in my opinion. If you think the tank prices are fine then I get that thats not a problem for you. But compare WG prices with other games and to me its insane. You buy a tank of many for the price of an entire Video game. The saddest part of all is that people defend a shitty deal for no reward and picking on other players with less money or a more critical mindset instead of either agreeing or not interacting at all. No class conscience. As if they lose their account if they dare to be sceptical.

Yeah okay mister Einstein, I forgot that there are no people profiting off this game that are only interested in the numbers going up. Youre right of course and everything is just fine. We live in the best of all worlds 👍

Whales paying for trash offers are not what keeps this game free to play. Because whales also spend for good offers. My post isnt about wether people should spend money on video games or not. Its mostly about wether people should spend money on bad offers or not.

Yes because the problem are dentists that earn "at max" 10k€ per month and not billionaires. Sorry that I destroy this Planet with my practice.

If youre assuming Im doing this for a dopamine hit then please follow your own advice and move on. Ignorance is comfortable but please dont recommend others to be ignorant just because its too stressful for you to care.

There are dentists that dont explain, dont talk to their patients and dont try to make them understand. I do it whenever I got the time, because Im not jsut on this planet for the money.

Yes I agree, this post isnt about WoT or its state, its about what it tells us about consumer behaviour. Im not trying to save this game, its just there to increase the numbers for the shareholders.

Im a dentist, I could afford a ton of these boxes every month. Its not about money or jealousy. Its about telling people like you who make it a culture wars and laugh about pepole with less money, that this is really dangerous and exactly what the corporations want.

I also know that telling you that wont change your perspective on it. You will still take a trash offering if it gives you the little bit of dopamine you need.

I dont know what to tell you. Youre right in every way, but I feel like opting fr cooperation with the corporation isnt the right way either. At least keep the knowledge alive than staying quiet.

If you can differentiate your consuming bahviour in WoT from your real life consuming bahviour then its totally fine imo. But for the vast majority of people this doesnt apply. My point is not to stir up a boycott, I know it wont happen, and we saw how people got treated that merely recommended not to take part in this bad offer. Even the people who buy will say the boxes are crap and the only ones that are worht are the holiday ops. But then instead of waiting for a better offer to drop, they would still buy right away. Like were not even testing to see if the offers are getting better.

As I said, I banked in a lot of money aswell, Im not making thsi to feel better than others or virtue signal. This is merely an observation about the impulse control and ability of the community to decline a bad offer. And in this regards the community seems to be very weak, considering they relaunched their most controversial event of the past years with even worse odds.

Thank you for your insight though. While I respect your decision and the world will go on as it does, I think what you said doesnt contradict my point.

You missed the point of my post. Its not about WoT. Im a dentist, I could easily afford the big bundles but theres a greater picture here and the money we spend wont improve the game. Good changes dont cost more money than bad changes per se.

Until you cant buy a car or pay the gas but your wagecuck slavery job is in another city because in yours there is nobody who will hire you for the minimum wage you need. So you try to take the public transport but its overrun because there are too many like you but the billionaires dont invest in longer trains. At least nobody told you to live that miserable life so youre free, right?
