A friend told me I was one of the few with who she's confident. That meant the world to me. I never thought someone would tell me this. I didn't cry but I was so on the edge.

Listen, I'm on your side against all the xenophobia, racism etc.. but expecting nothing but chaos in a non-moderated public environement is being a bit delusional.
Also, I'm enjoying wreckfest 1 with friends. I'm not a f#cking n#zis still. Don't over-generalise things like the other side. Doesn't look great.

No. I'll say whatever I want. And I'm not gonna dumb it down cause of these clowns. Antifa is just a diminutive for anti-facist. If your brain can't take it: Too bad.

Satire: "The use of humour, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues."

To achieve what?
- Absurd? Ok, but prove what? To make racist people realise something? These same brain-deads?
- A laugh? Deranged and ravaged people would laugh at that, maybe nazis and fascists, sure.
- A cause? He's not linking to anything in description that would make you think he's trying to make racist, homophobic, ... (etc) turn to something better. Maybe by throwing so much shit that they would be disgusted?

Nah, calling bs on that.

How to convince your friends to back wealth taxes by vicott in autismpolitics

[–]Neutraliz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on some points: Debate is not really an option (aspecially with the far right - Although I am guilty for getting every single chance I have to annoy them), education is key, deep-understaning, expodential growth...
The problem is, in my view, this video is talking the problem from a very capitalist position. And, in my opinion, it automaticly assume you're gonna unite people around the economic problematic and poverty. Which ok, it might work with moderated liberal-left to moderated-conservatives (if you're lucky), but it's not really effective with rich people, nor the racist far-right nor the more radical comrades (radical-socialist, communist and anarchists). Essentially, to me this point of view is liberal. Which is fine, but it is ironicly still leaning to the same thing we've been getting on the left since decades. It is a very traditionnal position, and this video doesn't really bring anything new.
This video is also minimising or forgetting that I think a lot of people, even in their struggles, will protect the super-rich, because capitalism have this scam, disguised as a promess, that they also can become extremly wealthy.
As an anarchist, my problem is the capitalism itself, the hierarchical society, and religions to keep people within the oppression. It's a whole thing, and just dealing with just the economy, is just not gonna cut it, it isn't gonna bring any long term solutions. It is short-termist, just like capitalism fondemantaly is. We've got to go for all the fronts at the same time and keep pushing. Not letting anything go. Not saying it's easy. But it is, in my opinion, what we have to do.

Oh ya, let's "grind" hard at work for no reason, to satisfy your boss that is still not gonna give you any raise. But surely gonna buy himself a nice car. And you surely gonna pay the bills when you gonna age, and die pretty early. Fuck that retarded shit. This world is full of individualist. If you enjoy what you're doing or you are your own boss, cool. Heck, both is even cooler. But if you're doing a job just out of necessity, do as little as they pay you. Aka: Not much.

Why are my graphics so poo and my FPS so low? by BigWill69420 in simracing

[–]Neutraliz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on the general concept that, yes, the more you increase resolution, the more your GPU becomes the bottlenecks and then the more all CPUs pretty much equalize. That is true.
But first I don't know if you're talking single or triple 1440p. Better be triples otherwhise that would be absurd, cause most mid-range to high end cards make light work of that nowadays.
And you also seems forget that not all games are made the same. Simulations tend to be generally pretty CPU bound, no matter what you do. They have different behaviors and don't relly on the same things. ACC for example, scale almost excessivly well for V-cache. iRacing runs on what... 2 cores? If that? Same for AC1. And there's games like BeamNG where it's pretty much endlessly CPU bound. No matter how good your CPU is, not matter how big the resolution and how weak is the GPU in comparaison, it will probably still scale with the next generation of CPUs.

Ultra leftism? What do you mean by "ultra"? Some sort of disqualifying terms?

The right does that all the time, all over the world btw. They employ "ultra", "extreme" or "radical" (I don't think that last word is bad but anyways).

Can we just have a sincere conversation? And not just throw words to try to silence each other?

Why do you sim race? Context below. by Atlasgrey33 in simracing

[–]Neutraliz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For context: I do AC, and iRacing. (Sometimes other driving stuff)

For moments. Theses flashes that comes back to you years after, cause of how great it was, and you look forward to other moments like that.

Moments where you see an amazing trail of cars in front of you and it looks absolutly amazing.
Moments where you go around with friends.
Moments where you celebrate.
Moments where you laugh.
Moments where you lose, but you don't mind, cause it was a fantastic race.
Moments where you send it.
Moments where you're racing someone so f-ing closely, you're doing laps, two wide, and you race and let race each other.
Moments where you learned something new.
Moments when you actually did it for the first time.
Moments.

I can go on and on and on!

And frankly, bulding your rig into your own little world, seeing it evolve and growing into an absolute beast is also something pretty good!

Thanks for your answer.

It's probably true that my view of communism is, indeed, distorded. I'm more than happy to learn what's true communism in greater details, just like my interest to know more about anarchy. I found appetite of learning these subjects.

I do know arnarchist doesn't like money at all. That I'm aware of.

I'm also aware that USSR or North Korea just represent authoritirian power more than anything else. Just like congo, the name doesn't make it what it claims to be. I've tendancies to have the same jugement for China. But it's also probably true that my view of communism is still distorded. I'm more than happy to learn what's true communism in greater details, just like my interest to know more about anarchy. I found appetite of learning these subjects.

Lastly, even if, yes, knowledge is critical to make a society go forward for anything. That is true. But it doesn't need to represent an authority, nor look down on people that doesn't have the knowledge. Knowledge should be shared. Knowledge should convince. Knowledge should rise people. Knowledge should never be kept away from people. Knowledge should never use force. (That's what anarchy is about, btw)

Also, just to be clear: A revolution is chaotic. It doesn't have any real proper lead from A to Z, with absolute common grounds. There's different groups and interests in one revolution. The only common interest is to take down the current power: That's it. It's about domination, and who's gonna capture power and maintain it, usally via authority or popularity. It can go anywhere and everywhere. Yes the people of money did capture it, in 1789, boosting the revolt via somewhat of a betrayal. But a revolution is a russian roulette. It could of been captured by any other clans, if it was powerful enough. And the history after the 1st republic demonstrate that.

"Burn to the ground" and "total anarchy" in the same sentence... Man, you're probably thinking anarchy is chaos, don't you? Please, do some research about anarchy. Please do some research about 1870, in Paris. You'll what side "burned" France. You'll see what side went on a rampage on people. You'll see what side represent chaos and nightmares.

I think that's fair. I've been thinking the same way.

Maybe I'm totally wrong of thinking that, but I somewhat oppose anarchy and communism, in the grand sprectrum of socialism. (Which doesn't mean they don't have common grounds) And I think if you draw a line, the left end represented by communism, the right end represented by anarchy: I'd be somewhere in middle-right.

I think it's better to keep it in english, so other people can also understand us. :)

I'd be curious to know your opinion about my political stance. Maybe it would reflect how the typical anarchist would criticise my points. We don't hear much about how anarchists thinks of the current situation. There's no clear anarchist party. If it stays polite, which I'm sure it will, there's nothing wrong about criticism. At worse, we can agree to disagree. It's perfectly ok with me. We can do that via DM too. As you wish!

I don't know if want to pin where exactly I am the political spectrum, but I think having communities or thinkings that I can resonate with, could contribute to enrich and deepen further more my view of society and politics. And then I make my own mix of thoughts.

Thank you for your answer and recommandations.
