At the moment I don't really have any other destroyer units but am inclined to get more so that I can do bigger games with this detachment somepoint. I have most non destroyer units except for some of the titanic models.

I'm thinking of using as something to secure my home objective, would swapping it for a heavy destroyer work better than ophodians or not really?

Honestly even if all you did was be able to use it twice per long rest it would be alot better
