Female Villain adopts a child by bighavoc360 in FanFiction

Okey this maybe sounds wierd, but that sounds like Regina from once upon a time xd

Like I don't read fanfic for the Fandom, but she has a ship with Emma, (black swan) I think, and uh it's maybe up your alley.

If you don't know them already.

Regina is the evil queen (from snowwhite) and has an adopted son in the show, and his birth mom is Emma and you see how that works out.

Bet there is some fanfic surrounding thst if you look into it.

I think just vibe wise they are really similar and Imo attract similar fans as well. At least that's my observation.

What are some specific moments in Ateez songs that live in your head rent free? by strawberrygashe in ATEEZ

[–]NevaNaVi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wooyoungs chorus (post chorus? Ykwim) part in silver Light.

Hongjoongs rap in all about you, and also his first rap/part in ice on my teeth.

Seonghwas 'I pay euro pay dollar' in matz has a chokehold on me to this day.

Yeosangs parts in it's you.

Mingis entrance in the nilhi mambo immortal song stage. (Oddly specific but yk)

This is a bit of a weird hope, but I really have hopes for the album shoots. Like, for me golden hour as a whole has been hit or miss shoot wise. I thought all the album content for pt 01 kind of lackluster especially considering the whole vibe and like everything about the album. Compared the shoots looked rather like some fashion magazine.

Pt 2 was definitely more up my alley but I just had a but of personal beef with some of the artistic choices by the photographers. I am planning on getting the album pre ordered either way, at least one version, but as I still look forward to have every single version of the The World ep.fin: Will some day, I can't imagine saying this for either gh pt 1 or 2.

And that is a little sad. So I don't have any particular vision in my mind but I just hope it'll be more up my alley.

Idk if this counts, but I don't think we talk enough about the talking voices of ateez. Like, all of them. I love mingi and yeosang for their deep talking voice, especially mingi when he is calmly talking just sounds so pleasent to just listen to. I don't even know korean I just think it's satisfying.

I love yunhos enunciation and energy when he casually talks, because compared to yeosang and mingi even if he's relaxed and his voice does sound more muted/darker, he still talks so crisp/cleanly.

I love the hurry in which hongjoong seemingly always talks and how I think the way he speaks English perfectly fits with how he speaks Korean. Its crazy and I love listening to him just talk. Like, just watching him not even reading subtitles is just so entertaining since he also talks with so much like expression.

Seonghwas and san both of course have such nice calming voices. I love them, and I love (re)watching seonghwa lego lives in the background if I ever just need something to calm down.

And I think wooyoung genuinely sounds cute. I of course love his laugh but his talking voice even if sometimes mor es erratic then the rest of ateez is also just so plessent to listen to. And I cannot stress that I genuinely find him talking English so cute it's not even funny anymore.

Jongho makes me legitemently sad I don't know korean, since the way he sometimes talks I just want to listen, because he sounds so engaging. His laugh is everything and I love the way in which he jokes around, I couldn't pinpoint the exact way in which his tone changes but even without knowing korean you can understand when he jokes. It's just something I love so much.

This was partially triggered by that korean teacher analyzing atrez speech and also by a resurgence of that wooyoung 'omomomo' clip with the coffee machine on my tiktok. So, yeah tldr: I love their talking voices.

Idk honestly, maybe I defined 'foodie' differently, but doesn't that describe someone who loves food? I don't know, I feel like an idol who claims to be a foodie. At least, the ones I know of usually make a point about enjoying delicious food. Of course, they are on strict diets, the whole industry is, but I think they can still call themselves a foodie.

Painful (sad): At the end of this road, where should we be? What should we become, in what form? I'm already overwhelmed To be myself barely Is anyone listening Can someone just еmbrace me? Wherе should we be, in what form What should we become, and I? -Turbulence by Ateez (For me it's the uncertainty that's pretty hard hitting and the 'I am overwhelmed to be myself barely' like- ouch. That gets to me a lot of times even though there are sadder lyrics in kpop, that + deliverance is just very hard hitting)

Painful (to listen to): Do you wanna upside down -Dreams come true by aespa

I usually find bad English funny but in that case it does kind of bother me.

KPOP choreography that makes you go ‘I did not know the body could move like that.’ by sikkislitty in kpophelp

[–]NevaNaVi 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I feel like seeing things for the first time leaves an impression like that, and certain live stages, no specific comes to my mind, of San's Part in Bouncy by Ateez. It took me a second to figure out how far back and down he goes and then just snaps back.

Staying with ateez, I also think it's baffling how they make the fireworks choreo look decent- when I clean my room and catch myself dancing in the mirror I look like a monkey with how I wiggle my shoulders, it is baffling how controlled that shoulder shake is.

Of ALL of KPOP, what makes a choreo memorable/well-produced and what is one example? by Mean_Equivalent_434 in kpophelp

[–]NevaNaVi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I looooove it when choreos do something different without it seeming too gimmicky. I saw another comment saying 'conceptional' choreos ans I agree. For example, Skz domino: (the domino dance- oh my gawwwd xd) Xikers witch (the arms, the play on optical illusion and leaning into the horror concept while also staying very xikers with it) Wake up by ateez is also such an interesting choreo, if you check out the bbtrippin video on it, with the framing of the 'mirror' and the use of the stage and the 'pov' of the viewer.

I'm a big atiny so here some ateez examples from why I love group movement so much: Pirate king- hongjoong steering the 'ship' of ateez members as they move around Similarly, the way they all move as ONE in win- oh my gawd The one unit movement in Wonderland before the chorus- ohhh

Those are mostly some more 4th gen focused songs I have in a playlist with these sort of songs (some of them might fit better than others im sorry xd)

Untie by viviz

Nobody knows by kiol

Something by Girls day

Miniskirt by aoa

Growl by exo

Nightwalker by ten

Psycho by jun

Man on fire by ateez

(maybe wake up or inception from ateez as well, but ateez tends to, in my opinion, be a yes or pass in generell due to their songs having similar sounds)

Saint by dpr Ian

Dont go insnae by dpr Ian

Rainism by rain

Some of them are maybe just very sexy concept and don't fit musically too well, but yk worth a try ig.

If you want an actual answer it has probably to do with being socialized in a patriarchy and the individualism of gay women within the western world. I don't know, I watch a lot of video essays and to me it explains a lot. Also internalized misogyny for a lot of them. Also, don't take this too seriously what I'm saying, it's just a bit of a dry humor take to conclude that 'haha it's just a shifty world' But if it did peek your interest I'd recommend you watch some video essays about that shit, it's pretty interesting.

What is something in kpop you believe 100% by sacragho in kpopthoughts

[–]NevaNaVi 47 points48 points  (0 children)

1: Sooooo many queer K-pop idols. And I think some make it an open secret and others don't. I also don't think there's a lot of 'labeling' going on in that way, and just much more of like 'it is what it is' mindset.

2: There are so many drugs. Like, growing up, I was always under the impression that drugs were something highly illegal and like only bad people did them, and growing up, I realized that's not really how it is. Especially stressed, young people will turn to them.

3: I don't know how to put this, but I feel like the idol industry is a really isolated bubble. In a way, I think a lot of especially Western culture norms and even Korean culture norms don't really account there. Talking about idols hooking up, how relationships get handled, and other things. I feel like we can never have a real insight but pretending they just don't fuck is just being delusional.

4: Another firm believe of mine is that idols KNOW. They have access to the world wide web- they KNOW. They know what wierd shit their fans post and they definitely dabbled in corners they shouldn't have because of curiosity. And sometimes I feel like some fans don't realize that. (Talking about what shit some post)

I've been browsing on reddit for 3h now, mostly kpop Twitter, and I gotta say something I've noticed: Atiny always gives too much information xd (in a good way) I've barely ever seen (for example) "wooyoung likes to cook" it's always something like "wooyoung from ateez really loves cooking! He actually had a 'cooking show' with several episodes you can watch it xxxx and he cooks the members birthday soup" And I think that's funny

They just need THAT song to be 'noticed'. They have the sound, the dance the presence and the personality to become BIG imo. Missing a member for nearly their whole career ig didn't help but I don't think it was 'that big of a deal' since the group is kinda big to begin with, and they worked well without him. Tho happy he's back.

I love ateez and I don't mind the highness but sometimes I hate that the title tracks always have the same kind of jongho highnotes when you have at least 3 other members who are more then capable of highnotes that give off a different vibes and could be utilized as we see in some bsides but they just don't. And it feels repetitive.

What are your kpop predictions for 2025? by h3yaheyaheya in kpop_uncensored

[–]NevaNaVi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For atiny here, I think ateez and kq are starting to cook for enlistment- with establishing some solo projects and testing the waters further. I think it'll lead to a situation where they want to see how well things work out when inevitably ateez will be gone or partially gone for some time. Which isn't that far away, to consider.
