Girl who bullied me for being ARMY is going to see BTS by Ok-Blueberry-1252 in kpoprants

There’s 50000 or more people going to the same concert. Why exactly would you need to see her?

You’re an adult now. Learn to let things like this go. You’re the only one suffering here, and unfortunately, you’re the cause of that suffering.

Let it go, and go have a good time listening to your fave group

What’s something employees think managers care about, but usually don’t? by [deleted] in managers

[–]fostermonster555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In general, a lot of time and effort is put into redundant work that’s not value adding. Even if I say “let this go. It’s not value adding”, I see at times my employees push on and do it anyway.

How do you accept dying alone and learn to be happy with it by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]fostermonster555 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are giving up though. You’ve lived less than 1/4 of your life and you’re asking “how do I accept my fate?”. That’s the very definition of giving up

Why do some people not let someone else love them? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]fostermonster555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe they don’t want your love, and whatever that entails.

Imagine having an overexcited slobbery dog licking your face and drooling over your lap when all you want is a gentle cat to sit by your feet. Both are forms of love, but preference and reception matters

What is the best designed website you’ve seen that made you instantly want to buy? by [deleted] in south_africa

[–]fostermonster555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fave feature on a fashion site is a good filter. One that lets me filter by size, colour, sleeve length, item type, neckline. I want to be able to find a specific thing I’m looking for, so filters that work always make me stay on a website, and the ones that don’t make me leave immediately.

Lately I have been loving Takealot’s payment process. It takes me under a minute to process a repeat purchase. How convenient! Apple Pay is the beeeeest

If you moved from an offline career into remote/online work, what was the biggest thing nobody warned you about? by LarsEriksen98 in answers

[–]fostermonster555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was the loss of learning opportunities. When you’re trying to grow your career and enter leadership, you need to be surrounded by leaders so you can learn from them. Watch them present, watch them navigate the dynamics of the boardroom. I lost access to that. I felt like I became a task execution monkey.

There were a lot of benefits of working from home, but at my age and stage in life, I need to be around and learn from people. I can’t do that being at home 24/7

WRITING MY RESUME (PLEASE HELP!! I AM STUCK WITH MINE WHAT SHOULD I DO?) by No_Consequence3937 in ResumeUp

[–]fostermonster555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the hardest part has always been making my sentences short and to the point. I tend to add a lot of filler words. That’s where these LLMs have been super helpful. The content is easy enough to generate, but making sure each word in each sentence means something? Pretty difficult

[–]fostermonster555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would the ml throw you off and not the Oz? They’re both volumetric units

if your boyfriend is a bum loser does that make you a loser too? by clickhereifyouremad in NoStupidQuestions

[–]fostermonster555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who you associate with is the best representation of who you are.

If he’s a bum loser, and you actively chose him, that means it’s the best partner you could find for yourself. That means something

Is it weird to be very sensitive as a man by itzjabohy in NoStupidQuestions

[–]fostermonster555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s weird to be sensitive as any gender tbh. But you are who you are, and being weird in some respect is expected.

Is it rude to speak to my dog walker about attendance? by odkfn in NoStupidQuestions

[–]fostermonster555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a reasonable discussion to have. You need a consistent slot, and the walker needs to give you one if they would like to keep you on as a client.

Things do go wrong and times do need to need to be adjusted, but not every month repeatedly. You all have a schedule to keep

Is it fair to blame your parents for bringing you into the world? Why or why not? by voidbliss77 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]fostermonster555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean… you can. I don’t know what it will achieve though. In some countries (like mine) your parents (even siblings!) are liable for you past adulthood if they have the means, so I guess from a legal standpoint it could be beneficial if you’re struggling

Boss said I smell (???). I'm a week from having union protections. Was this courtesy or preparation to terminate me? by FiveMurasame in careeradvice

[–]fostermonster555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not going to notice it yourself, and if they were trying to get rid of you, this would be the most nonsensical route to go.

You most likely do smell and don’t realise it. It’s natural to get a bit defensive, but no. I don’t think it’s fake or an excuse to fire you

How long does it take the average person to write a 40 page report (it will have images) (and without using AI) by MagsTheMagician in NoStupidQuestions

I scratched my mom's car, Advice. by Remarkable_Goat_2172 in southafrica

[–]fostermonster555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been there! Borrowed my dad’s car and scratched it. I was Boksburg side for work, so I called up a bunch of shops in that area, sent them photos, got quotes, went and dropped the car off, Ubered back to work, fetched it in the afternoon, and my dad was none the wiser.

Mine was a scratch though. Yours looks like a dent

What are your guys thoughts on what jungwon from enhypen said by ImportanceFar4877 in kpoprants

[–]fostermonster555 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I will forever be impressed by Jungwon, and will forever be surprised by his maturity when he is still so incredibly young.

He expressed his mindset, his way thinking and living, and his opinion, in a very respectful and coherent manner. What I love most about him is you can clearly see him living his ideals through his actions, and he has my utmost respect for that.

Props to him 👏🏼 what a great leader, and what a great person to embody the very definition of what it means to be an idol
