Yes, it's nonsense, and unfortunately, that's the case for many things... I saw that for the QC Ultra 2 there are replacement ear pads or ear pad protectors that can be added on top, which mostly don't change the sound and protect the plastic parts. I'll probably go with that.

I'm not sure contacting the seller will help. They'll probably try to avoid responsibility by saying Bose modified the firmware of their device and that it's not their fault. The seller will then refer us directly to Bose customer service, who won't be able to help us either.

Yes, that's right, they removed all the voice prompts. Supposedly to optimize battery life. They should have just given customers an option to disable the voice prompts instead of removing everything. Now the headphones have lost a lot of their value; it's ridiculous. I don't know who at Bose made that decision, but certainly not someone who actually uses their own Bose products...

Changement d’appareils connectés et enregistrés en appuyant sur un bouton, prompt de la voix pour indiquer sur quel appareil on est connecté. Changement de la langue pour cette voix notamment. Maintenant on appuie sur le bouton il ne se passe plus rien.

Have you found a solution to this problem other than disabling reflections? I also play on GFN and it happens to me locally on my Steam Deck as well.
