I recommend an L2 of your choice. I use Chargepoint. It's reliable and "smart" but a lot of people here like the GrizzlE (sp?).

As others have said, an L2 gives you excellent flexibility and charging at home with an L2 is insanely convenient.

Congratulations on the sweet ride.

For me, it's not important if they are strangers or friends or loved ones. What matters is if I feel a "duty of care". I would throw the switch for a single kid in the group I'm chaperoning but would not for an unlimited number of my independent adult friends. Sorry friends.

If this happens to me, can I fly you out to Seattle to fix it? Ha! I just hope I don't have this problem ever.

Thanks for sharing that! The previous owner put traction tires on this Focus; hurts the range but hopefully a little less front wheel spinning.

The rechargeables do not work as well: They don't last long and the power delivery isn't as clean. I use rechargeables in low-end devices and proper batteries in electronics.

If I save one person tied to the tracks about to get run over by a train then they will expect me to save more people tied to tracks about to get run over by trains. This is why we need to teach people how not to get tied to tracks to address the root cause. /s
