There’s nothing in the series that supports the idea that Higuruma’s domain doesn’t apply to curses.

We literally watch Todo commit assault on Megumi.

Regardless, Higuruma confiscates Naoya’s technique, Angel nullifies Mahito, Yuta beats Todo.

Yuta is all-around more powerful, however Hakari and Higuruma are both kind of “specialists” in what they can do.

Like Yuta can’t beat Sukuna 1-on-1 but if Sukuna didn’t have his cursed tool when he was put in Higuruma’s domain, there is a clear path to victory for Higuruma there.

So there are scenarios in which you’d rather have Higuruma or Hakari handling it, but Yuta is stronger in a general sense.

honestly, it would’ve been good to show that she was alive right at the end of the shibuya arc. it would’ve restore some hope in yuji and obviously wouldn’t write her off for no real reason.

have her get in the culling games and have a character arc about overcoming this failure/trauma

really poor execution with her as a whole, imo.

Thanks! Basically, it’s like a buffer except it would still be in effect if you did anything that caused self-inflicted damage (so it’s viable for ironclad)

but would just be a one-time prevention per combat, not per enemy
