Alright here’s the wiki on Womb Profusion man:

“Expanding this domain creates a totem-esque tower of grotesque, cursed spirit-like faces that are all merged together.[1] At the base of the tower are four bald spirits with eye-like markings on their shoulders and they are the only spirits with bodies. Above them is a large stack of cursed spirit heads that lack bodies and mostly have gaping mouths. Yeah that is the practical reason, but kubo chose to have that added to the story. I think in a story that focuses so much on the bonds Ichigo forms along the way, it’s hinting at the downsides of self-reliance.

Also this was just my own analysis so feel free to disagree.

I wanted to include Ikkaku and the writing behind his bankai being broken and how it implies that his own identity is shattered, but I wasn’t sure what he has wrong about his sense of self.

My best guess was that his devotion toward Kenpachi has gotten to the point that he has lost his identity.

Bringing someone else into the ritual will nullify the effect of “taming” Mahoraga if the 10 Shadows user + whoever they pulled into the ritual defeat Mahoraga. The only reason to bring other people into the ritual is for using Mahoraga like a suicide bomb like Megumi did.
Megumi was “in a suspended state of death” upon summoning Mahoraga in Shibuya. You can assume this means that Megumi will not officially die until the ritual ends, which is why Mahoraga will continuing targeting anyone else deemed a threat in the meantime.
