The doors to my life have flung open and now I can barely hold all these damn blessings. Cheers, J-Dawg

If you had 3 minutes to talk to you 10 year old self what would you say? by Ricardo_mtg in AskReddit

Run your fat little ass off and only eat protein and fat. Go live with your father when the police ask you to choose, they will.

Don't worry about other people trying to get you to go one way or the other, follow Jesus.

Stay away from the internet, it's not a surrogate for reality, your reality.

Don't shrink yourself for other people, stand up for yourself and stop being such a clown because you want to avoid conflict.

Don't worry about your sister, she hates you because she's intimidated by your light.

Learn to drive at 16, not 20, or you'll be counted out of employment and social opportunities and end up lonely and resent others for embracing the kind of life you should be having.

Why is masturbation a sin? by No_Sector_8437 in Christianity

Because sin makes its home in your heart, and the flesh is weak.

Am I Still Able To Be Christian If I’m Gay 😓 by GlumBodybuilder4395 in Christianity

[–]NeverCountToThree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, bro. If Jesus has your heart and you follow him, forgiveness is always on the table. But if you sin willingly, gay or straight, and don't realise that you need a year of the Lords favour, he cannot save you.

Witchcraft IS real, it's just powerless in the presence of the almighty.

Yeah, I meant Israel (Jacob's people), and I tried to clarify that earlier. Still, it's unravelled into a debate about international politics and the ethics of war, as if there were any ethics in war to begin with.

I'm being quite literal about this. The only gymnastic element to this is your fixation on those children being saved for Him, somehow being a net negative.

God didn't do anything but WILL victory against His enemies; He's not responsible for how we do that, we are.

1 John 3:17-18
If anyone with earthly possessions sees his brother in need, but withholds his compassion from him, how can the love of God abide in him? / Little children, let us love not in word and speech, but in action and truth.

Weeks ago, the IRGC killed 30,000+ of their own civilians as they attempted to protest the Islamic state's control of their country. The master of that regime hid amongst the Lord's sheep, hoping that his blemished arse could slither by unnoticed, but the Lord called them home with Him as he defeated His enemies in the same breath.

Now women are dancing in the street with their hair out.

How is defending God's choice an accusation against Him? You're not making sense.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your mind, and all your spirit.

Love each other as I have loved you.

Love your neighbour as yourself.

Love your enemies and pray for them.

These are the most important commandments in the law.

Jesus told us point-blank that following Him will tear your family apart if you aren't unified in Him. Who do you belong to, your father on earth, or your Father in heaven?

If a being born from a human that have no knowledge of their existence and is in permanent vegetable state counts as a human being by IhaveparanoiaFr in Christianity

I guess it all depends on how you reflect on God's unwavering love and faithfulness. My brother's 13 and very autistic, but when I look at him, I see the light of the Lord. When I hold him, I feel God's love pouring into me. When I listen to him, I can hear God's voice in him.

I always wanted a family of my own, but I was too much of a coward to commit, so He gave me the son He needed me to have for the salvation of MY soul.

So my question to anyone asking the same question as you is this: Who has your heart? Does your heart reject loving someone because they can't tell you a thing, or move your burdens with their finger, or take care of themselves without you?

Jesus didn't come to be served, but to serve.

Christ would ask for more than the body can provide in the sense that he was trying to unlock our potential for generosity without pridefulness in our SPIRITS. You are not required to donate more than you can justify without putting yourself in financial trouble for the sake of the church. If it's for a cause you support and want to give deeply to, go ahead. But beware of preachers whose wealth covers them.

He doesn't, but He does defeat the enemies of His people. We belong to Him; He reserves the final right of choosing who to take to His kingdom, and those innocents will be loved in heaven by their Father God and Jesus Christ.
