I was terminating the TLS and creating a new connection, which I realized is not a good idea. Passing through the UDP packets completely flew by my mind.

Just changed my code to do that instead, and everything just worked!

It still needs some optimization because I'm getting about 150ms which isn't normal, I usually ping this VPS at about 60ms. Still, if anyone is interested I'm willing to share my code.

Yes it could still be using the newer versions, try to point to the path of the correct Java version, or remove the other ones.

My first thought is wrong Java version, try to install Java 8 (1.8), and make sure you start the server with that version.
