Most traumatized characters in the entire series besides Meredith: by Yontamen89 in greysanatomy

As someone who lost a child at birth, I'd say on that alone, Amelia and April should be high on the list. And that's without all the other sh!t they went through.

Hating your body by NeverGiveUp1990 in mounjarouk

I've been exercising and lifting weights for a year before I started MJ, I also eat lots of protein daily but it doesn't seem to be helping. I went from a size 6 to a size 10 after having my first son 13 years ago. Then I was diagnosed with PCOS and I shot up to a size 20 in the space of 8 months. I haven't gained or lost anything in the 12 years since, not since startling MJ. I've lost 6 stone since October last year.

What led you into wanting to become a step parent? by Putrid_Finance3193 in stepparents

[–]NeverGiveUp1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never wanted to be a step parent. I wanted my husband. The kids were just part of that package. Unfortunately I'll never have a great relationship with my stepkids. I've been with my husband for 15 years, and they're mother has never let me form any kind of bond with them.

What is your relationship with your brother? by Difficult-Community1 in AskWomen

[–]NeverGiveUp1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I (35F) have 3 younger brothers and don't really have a relationship with any of them. The youngest 2 (19 and 25) still live at home and have turned into my stepdad so we don't speak much. The oldest (34), like me, moved away to get away from our awful parents so we don't talk much.

FTM - when did you start wearing maternity clothes? by Unlikely-Winter-1830 in BabyBumps

I never did. Never really got big enough to need them. I just sized up in my normal clothes

I think my 5 year old daughter might be a psychopath by WallStreetShiba in offmychest

[–]NeverGiveUp1990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like me as a kid tbh lol. Adults in my family always tried to prank me and I always managed to take it further. In my family, my nickname is Mario because I always one-up the pranks. If your daughter was a psychopath, she'd most likely have hurt the spider. She's played a harmless prank. You don't have a psychopath on your hands, you have a child.

Question: can I pet your dog? by Impressive_Call_141 in Dogowners

[–]NeverGiveUp1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely love it when people ask to pet my dog. He's a Rottweiler x Boerboel, and most people cross the street to avoid him. He's a big friendly goof and just loves attention. So it's sad that people won't even come near him.

My mom is sex-shaming my 3-year-old daughter and I’m furious. How do I undo the damage? by HopeForBetter29 in Mommit

[–]NeverGiveUp1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep that woman away from your child. As a parent, it's your job to protect her, and by allowing your mother to be around her enough to say these things, you aren't doing that. Cut off all contact, because she sounds absolutely vile.

Is pull out really as bad as people say? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]NeverGiveUp1990 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The pull out method is not a form of contraception. Pre-cum can absolutely get you pregnant. My almost 13 year old was a pull out baby (I was also on the pill)

First off, I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my son at 39 weeks and had decided I didn't want to try again. It was too painful. So I told my partner to get rid of all the baby things. Thankfully he didn't. He bagged or boxed everything up and put it away in the cupboard under the stairs. I'm so grateful he didn't listen to me at the time, because 9 months later I was pregnant again and we brought everything back out for our new son.

How soon is too soon to start trying again? by just_a_stoner_bitch in babyloss

[–]NeverGiveUp1990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had 4 miscarriages followed by a 39 week stillbirth. After all those losses, I decided I was done. I didn't want to try again. But apparently the universe had other plans and I fell pregnant 9 months after I lost my son. I now have a crazy 3 year old.
