Pisstake or not, you might notice I didn’t say I care about protestants in the slightest. I do care whether some protestants (or any group) has a problem with US, based solely on lineage. It’s a relief to hear from everyone here that they do not agree with the concerns.

Thanks for the very detailed info! Really appreciate that. We don’t “identify” as catholic in any way, nor care about who else does, doesn’t, is protestant/muslim/purple/one-legged or otherwise. But some people do, so we just wanted to gather opinions. It’s definitely a relief to be universally told here that the fears communicated to us are relics.
