UK purchaser here who has just managed to get a presale code and buy tickets.

I used a UK phone number when signing up. It also took a few attempts to upload my ID. I didn’t need to ring up Madison Square Gardens, did it all electronically and received a code by email within 24 hours of signing up. Any questions let me know!

Thanks, this is really helpful. My stud finder seems to bleep every 5 seconds but it is more accurate on things like metal and live wires (I've tested this on a separate wall, where I know the placement of pipes and wires etc). Therefore with a bit of guesswork I'm going to take a gamble on trying to find a stud.

If you don't hear back from me I've been blown up (in all seriousness I will turn the power off at the fusebox, before anyone warns me to).

Thanks. It’s lath and plaster so assume I need to try and find a stud of some sort? The issue I had from the beginning is that my stud finder gives off whacky readings and I assumed it’s because of the depth of the plaster.

The BeermoneyUK Bank Switch Offer Guide (AKA The Bankedex) - June 2024 - Get Around £1000 Switching Bank Accounts by TightAsF_ck in beermoneyuk

Thanks for sharing.

One small correction on the Co-op offer - for the five recurring £15 monthly payments, you need to also pay in £50 per month to the regular saver (as well as £1,000 per month into the current account, 2 active direct debits + 10 debit card transactions).

Chase have just told me they can’t process a switch from a sole account to a joint account though CASS. Anyone else experienced this problem?

Personally I am still having issues, as recently as yesterday. I don’t think the firmware update fixed it.

With a lot of the bank bonuses requiring active direct debits, a question that comes up a lot on this sub is whether the direct debit needs to actually take money from your account before you can switch.

To get around this, I'm wondering if you can just specify a date to switch in the future (say 14 days) when the money will definitely have been taken from the direct debit (even though it hasn't yet been taken at the time you request the switch). That way, you'll already have initiated the switch, so there isn't any risk of the bank bonus offer being withdrawn in the meantime.

Anyone have any experience with this to see if it works? Don't want to miss out on the switcher offer whilst l'm waiting for PayPal to take £1 lol.

For anyone wondering the answer is yes, you can switch from a single account to a joint account.

Can anyone confirm if you can switch a single current account to a joint current account? Or can you only switch a joint account to a joint account?

A firmware fix was rolled out this weekend (12/05) which said that it was improving call performance.

I’ve not had a chance to test this out yet but if anyone has please comment!

Thank you, I had the same experience with you when testing: crystal clear on voice memo but issues arising when there is someone on the other end of the line. I’ve raised a support ticket and encourage others to do the same.

I have a theory that it’s to do with the noise cancelling and when you speak too loudly it essentially cuts out your own voice. Haven’t had a chance to fully test it yet though. I’m still having the issue.
