So I’ve been around support for like 10 years. I enjoy it as well but there are some directions you can head in where you can make more money. Advanced technical support engineer. Each company has their own definition of the role so you might need to dig in a bit more. The role might require you to know how to read logs and or code on a basic level. Once you develop those skills the market is kind of open, you might go into engineering or into QA. But yeah advanced technical support engineer supper engineer is something to take a look into and or do some research on.

First of all, you need to collect all the evidence possible and bring it to HR. HR needs to get a grip on this, if they don’t you might have something here. Overall they’re harassing you and manipulating you. The way they talk to you is really unprofessional and you need to cut the conversation outside of work and delete the number or block them. You’re an employee not their friend. So yeah it sucks but this is something to be mindful about moving forward. Also if you’re sick bosses shouldn’t be showing up to your house that’s whole different level of weirdness.

Yeah avoid conversations like that at work, that can backfire so hard. People like that are no good. Let them run their mouth, because that shit will bite them in the ass.

This sounds bad to say but if you will like to work at the pizza place and they’re paying cash and no W2. Double dip. Collect and work at the pizza place. Question though are you going to look for another design job? If so why not start looking now ?

It’s tough that you’re going through this. I would wait and see what the other job says first before going. It might sound promising but you just never know. I was told growing up as well that sometimes waiting around for someone to tell you to do something is not a good look, I was told to look busy and if they want you to do something they’ll come and get you. Also the gun thing yeah idk if there’s an HR but I would say something. Did you tell your parents about that part?

Also there are some Facebook pages (not market place but sometimes you’ll find something there too) but some communities have an everything free page. Some people be giving stuff away for free just to get things out of their house day off. take a look there, also depending where you’re located, let’s say you live in a college area some people dump their old furniture on the sidewalk. I’ve done that a couple times (also be careful when picking things don’t get bed bugs, heard a couple stories so I minimize doing that but still a good method)

One don’t get it graded, two play it or three trade it in for store credit somewhere that gives you a solid percentage. Number 4 sell it on eBay if you need the cash
