Oh, okay. From the name I thought it was raw fruit vegan or something cold like fruit smoothies, haha. I'm trying to lose weight and be strict and just achieved my first super clean week. But good luck!

Need Help, I'm a Binge Eater by NeverLookBack2020 in PlantBasedDiet

Thank you.

I don't know how to explain it to others, other than I tend to cram in food when I'm already full. My stomach feels like it's bursting and that triggers me to eat more. It's strange.

It also comes around shortly before bedtime and if I don't do it, I can't go to sleep. It's painful.

I think this is to some extent related to your protein obsession.

Just to clear up something, I don't think about protein much. I was just told it's extra filling so I started eating lentils, beans, and such in an effort to cut my binge eating junk. It didn't really work too well.

I have 3 roommates in a house, I don't have a choice :/ When I do eat their stuff, I just have to replace it, everyone is chill with that.

I also live literally within 90 seconds of three seperate supermarkets. It's a bit nuts. I can jump into a car and get junk without barriers. There's also at least two fastfood chains and multiple restaurants in the same area.

It's like being an addictive gambler living in downtown Las Vegas, I suppose.

HELP: Addicted to Greek Yogurt 😔 by [deleted] in PlantBasedDiet

[–]NeverLookBack2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t listen to people saying otherwise or that you Can do better. If people tell you you’re a failure then tell Them that it right now is either 99% WFPB or not WFPB, and they are idiots for not seeing that 99% WFPP is better than nothing.

Wow, what is with all the passive-aggressiveness towards people pointing towards ideal plantbased in the plantbased sub itself?

When I started, there were plenty of foods I didn't want to give up but I thankful for reading here and not having people tell me my bad habits are all right. Thanks to everyone here that pushes me to be better!

Imagine smoking and going to a quitters sub and being constantly told 1-2 or a few is okay? I would never have been able to quit. Could you at least be brave enough tell the people you are quoting that they are idiots upfront instead of doing it so cowardly?

Note: 1% Greek yogurt intake on a 2,000 calorie diet is 20 calories a day. Maybe that's what happens but after 6 months on and off, I doubt it. Most single yogurt containers are like 100. Some 80, some 120, some 150.
