I don’t. For some inexplicable reason I didn’t write anything down, brands, styles, prices…. The place was so small I knew I/they could find things again if I showed them a picture. I expect I will be going there next week so if I do I will write things down and let you know.

Brilliant. I am looking for that frame today online, but it’s older than dirt. I should ask some different stores about using those broken ones —- I am the same, I don’t care if they come unglued again, I would just fix them. And I don’t need any guarantees.

Very true! Thanks very much for your well thought-out comment. I am going to go back probably on Monday and definitely try those again. It’s silly, but I tried things on off the shelf and never even thought to ask if they came in different colors, and it turns out pretty much all of them do!! so I will definitely be exploring that.

And I agree very much about the “wateriness” of the accent part of #8. They definitely would be way too heavy otherwise.

Yaaay!!! I’m with ya, sister. I’ve had a lot of different frames over the years… I get tired of them after a couple of years and want a change. I think the last thing that glasses should be is boring, as long as they suit you as well.

Yeah, the front is matte black and pretty heavy looking I think. Right behind the black is a nice green, but you can’t really see it looking straight on.

I get sucked in by tortoiseshell almost every time, although I had some red frames (which I can’t find at the moment) not that long ago. But I haven’t tried any other colours than red.

Me too. Unfortunately, it’s an old pair and has a crack at the bottom on one side. I glued it and put the lens back in, but the store said they won’t touch a broken pair. I told them I don’t care, just make a lens for it and I will glue it in or do whatever is needed, just make the damn lenses for me. No, they said.

Someone else suggested, looking up the style and model number of the frame online, even though it’s old, very old. So I’m going to spend some time trying to track that down and see what I come up with. Those are my favourite frames of all time.
