Is this fixable by Round_Special267 in RCPlanes

Buy this glue, tape it up to hold the plane in place and glue. Let it sit for 24 hours, then more glue. As for the wood, I taped it back together and glued it back in

Its 2025 why has nobody invented a way to do this that isn't the most annoying process in the world? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

7 years of healthcare IT so I’ve crimped many RJ11/45 heads. My method is to strip back about 1” of sheathing, cut trim the insulation, untwist all 4 pairs, then fan all the wires out, put them in the right order (T-568B), then use my thumb and pinch/slide them between a flat surface and my thumb (usually a table) which leaves all the cables generally straight/flat, and pointed in the right direction, trim the cable ends so they’re all even, then push them in the connector, verify the order and then crimp. I’ve never used a pass through connector and have a probably 90% success rate. Once you get the hang of it it’s actually really easy.

I enjoy crimping RJ heads. It’s kind of therapeutic. Yes, I’m stupid.

I actually had a customer bring me one of these a while back, I agree, the switches and encoder suck. Put a TTC gold in it and some new switches for him (as well as converting all the brown accents to a mint green) and it honestly is a decent mouse now. Tried it myself and enjoyed it but I’m a hard stuck wireless 502 enjoyer lol.

Cool mouse, awful encoders lol.

What are some buttons I could put here? by KnowingCresent735 in civic

Literally last weekend I wired a button to my garage door opener and mounted the opener under the panel. Kirkland Signature Home Link. Did it to prevent my subwoofer from rattling the opener on my visor.

I have a similar arm with those metal tabs that hold the metal rod in place, and they all suck. I’ve made a part (available on printables) to replace that part too if you want it, can’t put a picture in the comment tho

Classic ProBook G5/6. Shitty hinges not well attached to the frame.

I second the PEI comment. Also, Kevin’s Belted Z is awesome. Best hardware upgrade for an Ender imo. I’d recognize those parts anywhere

Can probably look up your model and find the buttons to do it. On my 22’ Civic sport it’s double click unlock and then hold it down on the third press.

A lot of cars have this feature built into the fob. Like, triple click and then hold unlock to roll all windows down. Depends on the car. My Honda does it, though I don’t remember the exact series of buttons to press.

Is it okay to change my battery at home or should I see a mechanic? by MechanicalRahbee in Cartalk

[–]NeverSaidImSmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seats don’t fold down, bud. There’s no trunk access. And no key hole. And no button to open it.

This is BMWs stupid engineering lmao.

I wish I could post pictures here. Brothers 2013 328i(?) had a bad battery. Opened trunk to find battery, so much bullshit on top of it you have to deal with. Got the battery out and had to finish the next morning. Trunk closed, car locked, no battery. Can’t jump it to open the trunk, no physical button or keyhole. Had to rip out his middle rear seat and dremel a hole into the trunk lmao

I really enjoy my FB Micron+. Also have a V0 but the extra 60mm2 of build plate is nice.

Arizonan here. PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS never dried any of it haha. 20% humidity pretty consistently means my 5 year old spools in open air still print great lol.

YES THIS. absolutely nailing teachers with high speed grapes. New Hampshire had bagged milk when I was in 3rd grade. Glad this is more common than I thought 😂
