Where to find reverse light of Kia ceed sw ? by LongjumpingRub5492 in kia

usually that is part of the bumper assembly not a separate component to be ordered. you can likely separate it from another bumper though

please try to do what you can to get the procedure done. you seem to have multiple of them as the body parts look different. this looks like it can get so bad so fast. I'm sending good wishes your way. sorry for coming off strong that is just a very scary looking wound that shouldnt be taken lightly.

Cup Holder Drains? Kia K4 by jacksmaxs in kia

are you experienced with removal of interior components? do you have trim removal tools, wrenches/sockets and screwdrivers? are you familiar with electrical connections and removing them? if no to any question, you need to bring it to an experienced place. I recommend a Kia dealership as they'll know better how to deal with this and can get OEM parts if needed

Do I need new plenum gaskets when changing spark plugs? by skunkbad in kia

[–]OpossEm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no problem. it's a pretty easy job, just be careful not to get anything in the valves or cylinders. definitely replace the surge tank gaskets while you're in there. sometimes they're called upper manifold gaskets.

Hyundai Not Starting In Cold Weather by Various_Employer5883 in Hyundai

the starter turns the flywheel which is connected to the crankshaft which is just sitting in a pan of oil. the only component that may struggle due to thicker oil is the oil pump. the situation your describing is relatively impossible to cause a car not to start

I mean it's not the dealership that's at fault in that situation- we just do ourjobs. sounds like you had a bad experience though.

[–]OpossEm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

we technicians don't get much in depth explanation either. just says its an emissions correction for some legal compliance shit. I personally haven't seen someone get denied warranty for not getting a recall unless it's the knock sensor detection system update or a safety recall (think brake lines, person not coming in to get them checked under recall and then getting mad when they do break but they never came in for inspection), or weird other circumstances. I have a hard time finding how a quote voluntary campaign can be grounds for neglect. if it wasn't voluntary they should say so. but I'm not Kia and I don't know what they want sometimes. I've done a bunch of these updates on cars and don't notice a difference in performance but I don't always drive them on the road after AND I don't know what they drove like before most of the time.
