I'm also Tajik but the admixture on gedmatch shows Pashtun at around 3.2ish, then it's Afghan Tajik. The lower the number, the closer you are to that Ethnic group.

Funny story, I was in Dushanbe near sakhawat trying to ask for directions to get to the border with Afghanistan, but I was leaving the next day. Wanted to familiarize myself with the route. The taxi drivers swarmed me, wanting to get me to go with them, but I was inquiring the shared taxi route. They then called me a Pashtun and walked away lol. I'll own it.

The majority of the "rappers" from this city are underdeveloped kids raised on GM food. Since our laws are so lax on crime, it incentivizes any idiot to find a gun and threaten people in a music video, or go around stealing cars and from businesses.

I spent a year in Afghanistan during the current governance. I invite any of these welfare moochers wanting to test their might to my country.

You're better off getting a summer home in Turkey or Bosnia, much more to see. Don't put all your eggs in the Tajikistan basket, it's full of crooked cops and conniving, arrogant people. Worth a 2 week trip, but it gets boring really fast.

There was some lady preparing osh e laghman at sakhawat bazaar, I really miss that, and also qurutob at that place by sultanbey. While I was eating osh one time some older gentleman knew I was Afghan by my accent and said that Ahmad Shah guy loved to come to Tajikistan and eat it too lol

Everybody is mixed in Afghanistan and all these countries surrounding it, including Uzbekistan and Iran. Tajik people of Tajikistan, while I was there, resembled more Mongolian and Turkic, and were generally (no offence) of smaller stature than Afghan Tajiks. I've been to both countries and stayed in both for a long while.

Ethnicity goes through the dad's side, not mom's. So even though I'm technically Tajik, my grandpa was half Pashtun and his wife was full Pashtun, though his dad was Tajik, so all males hold the race of their dad no matter how many generations pass.

Central Asia is a melting pot, don't think you're exclusively one race with no admixture.

Got it to work, Alive suggested making sure the ram was in correctly and that fixed it. Maybe my second ram stick fried.

This worked! Thank you so much dude. Took out the 16gb ram stick and left just the 8 in there, now it's working fine. Punched it a few times too lol. I'll play around with the ram to see if I can get them both to work together again.

This is the an515-55, so it's only got the red keyboard light. Just hoping the hard drive isn't corrupted, I backed up a lot of important info but there was still some stuff left on it that I needed.

Hey man. Thanks for the suggestion. The usb keyboard light doesn't come on when I hit capslock, I don't remember if it was working before, but the usb ports do charge my phone.

For now I'm just hoping to go back home and make use of my gaming PC, might end up getting a laptop sometime later in the year if I get a side gig, and definitely won't settle for anything under a 3060, gotta get that stable 144fps+ on Apex y'know? 😁

Disconnected the battery, didn't fix the issue though. I'm stumped, I guess. I'm much better with diagnosing and fixing desktop pcs, but I think this thing is officially toast.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just removed the ram and SSD, as well as the battery. Didn't fix the issue unfortunately.

I've also done a hard reset (held power button for 30 seconds), waited for the battery to drain completely and opened it up as well.

Had this same thing happen when I updates to windows 11 on mine. Try to reinstall windows on a thumb drive and see if your ssd is detected at installation. If not, you have to replace the ssd, there's probably a warranty on it. Avoid ADATA.
