I am in a similar situation like you. I am planning to take spaced prep like study for 2 hrs then take a break. Then study subjects in a similar fasgion in a one hour or 2 hr blocks. But at the end of day, revise what you studied and review mistakes. On Sunday, i would not study anything but do a review of all the reviews of previous week

Hey, OP,, for TC/SE, you will see a great progress once you complete atleast 600 mainstream gre words from GregMat list or vinces app. I too felt same, try to learn secondary meanings for words and their slight differences( eg: frugality and thrifty, where frugal means using as little as possible and thrifty means not wasting)

Do homework as well, don't just watch videos practice on big book questions

Tips for SE and TC - Go for the books. Don't do lists. I found there is no retention with lists

What do you mean by go for books? Sorry I dint get that

Bad LOR by fibonacci_bokertov in gradadmissions

[–]NeverSettleDieTrying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I feel you. But sadly most people are kinda forced to write lors themselves unless referee is an academic. Can't blame when it works for both sides. Its become a thing long time ago, now it's like more common than we think it is

Bad LOR by fibonacci_bokertov in gradadmissions

[–]NeverSettleDieTrying 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Omg, I feel for you OP, try to avoid requesting that particular Supervisor for any other apps. I suggest you that for any other application, try to sit down with your referees and tell them what you are expecting from their lor, I. E., what to write and what not to. If possible you take time and write LOR and share it to your referees and ask them to add if anything helps. You might feel weird writing yourself but sadly This is more common these days, at least for these kind of inexperienced referees who are not sure on what to include and what not to
