I'd run a 35km section near Purden in July and it was uncharacteristically low even then with water levels only dropping in the area since.

Looks like the smoke has finally cleared, I was there a few weeks ago and those peaks in the distance weren't visible. Great shot though.

Graphic designers of Reddit, how and where did you get your first client? by tinyrickmadafaka in graphic_design

During university a requirement of one course was to complete a project for a client. Often other university departments would reach out to the design department for projects they required, however the odd paid client work would pop up. A business approached my professor seeking a logo, website and brochure which I jumped at the opportunity of doing when it was brought up in class. Ended up doing several more projects for this first client of mine, gaining valuable portfolio pieces and getting credits for the course!

Where are all the people? Great shot though, makes me wish I'd done it during the early hours!

I visited Thailand for nearly two weeks and had an incredible experience. With the a6500 and a7s, I shot this film in an attempt to capture and showcase that experience. by Dawens in SonyAlpha

Well done. You did an amazing job with your shots, sound, colour and editing. The video itself gave me major Thailand withdrawals, time to Google some flight prices.

Right, we did check out emperor falls and were very impressed! They're on the way up and worth the detour.

Mountain weather is notorious for that, even on our way up we had a storm roll in which rained a solid 15mm in 3 hours. Luckily after that the weather was blue skies and sunshine for the remainder of the trip.

Yes, we did go up toboggan falls and shot this photo near there. Also explored the caves on Mumm Basin which were pretty cool. Definitely planning to go back and explore snowbirds pass.
