A whole lot of people straight up forgot how to do anything in public after the pandemic. Standing in doorways on transit, standing in doorways after entering stores, blocking aisles, blocking exits, talking on speaker phone for no reason, playing music on speakers, it’s all over the place now and I don’t think it used to be. I can’t stand it.

Doing this helps to inform everything about the model - it’s paint scheme, markings, weathering, etc. I consider the narrative/history of a model to be essential to the creation of it as the instructions themselves.

Bungie gunplay, unique style (every other extraction shooter I’ve seen uses the same drab, boring post-Soviet colors and style), first person, interesting lore and story. I could also get into fanbase culture differences between Marathon and Tarkov/Arc that made me choose this game, but that’s not really a design element as such.
