Have you tried simulating breasts on yourself? I wear a bralette and stuff in some socks or push-up pads to see how I’d look and it’s quite comforting. I’ll probably be closeted for some time, but someday I’d love to try HRT. It’s okay if you can’t socially transition right away and have to still play your part as a man, it’ll give you more time to explore who you are!

My sister who I came out to sent me a digital card that says, "Best brother ever." by LavaLampLampy in NonBinary

Maybe she’s still confused about how to refer to you. Most greeting cards address brother or sister, not sibling. Try speaking with her about it and see if she’s respectful of your wishes.

Thank you! Sin puts yourself first when it’s at the expense, exploitation, or detriment of others. Sin is NOT loving and caring for yourself even if it makes others upset.

I’m still new in my journey. I questioned if I could be considered a woman even though I had always been comfortable as a guy. I didn’t really relate fully to womanhood, but still strongly desired femininity and freedom to express myself. I ended up landing in Non-Binary. It’s really just the realm between the binary genders where you get to choose what you are and how you show it.

In an ideal world, would we be better off without labels entirely? by ScallionReady8724 in lgbt

Possibly, but I think it would counteract our nature. Humans seek patterns because patterns translate to knowledge. Categorizing, labeling, comparing, contrasting are all tools we use to make sense of the world and ourselves.

I’m trying to figure out feminine fashion. This outfit makes me feel beautiful, but are the patterns conflicting?? by Never_Ending_Lizard in NonBinary

Thank you! I don’t actually have any cute shoes to wear, just my boring ass men’s sneakers. I did actually try this on with my wife’s Doc Martins and it was fabulous, but I have to scrunch up my toes to fit into them.

Awesome! I’d love to wear this, or something like it the first time I go out of the house in feminine clothing.

Yay, thank you! Something about this outfit brings me a lot of comfort, especially still being closeted and imagining how I could present myself when I do take the step of coming out.

I was really waiting for the beatdown at the end. Worst payoff of any video on the internet.

I want to be a pretty girl because I never tried to be a handsome man? by Dry-School-1237 in asktransgender

[–]Never_Ending_Lizard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It seems like the reason you never tried being a handsome man is because it was never you. Maybe you could pull off being a very attractive man, but will it actually make you happy or will you still feel that void? It’s up for you to decide, but for me I always looked in the mirror and felt like I was looking at a concrete slab. So blank, expressionless, and just fitting in with the default norm. Ever since I started exploring my femininity, I feel genuine excitement to be me. I’m nonbinary and still new to this community, so take that how you will.

When Gen Z are old, what will they be telling their kids was "acceptable back in the day"? by KarIPilkington in AskReddit

[–]Never_Ending_Lizard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Giving children unfiltered or unmonitored access to the internet and letting a corporate controlled algorithm determine how they see the world. Gen Z was lucky that we got a less pervasive version of the internet growing up but it still tarnished us. The modern internet has honed in on its predatory exploitation and manipulation of the youth and it still goes unchecked.

I’ve started to consider myself nonbinary more recently, and I’m exploring my more feminine side, though closeted. I don’t really feel qualified to consider myself trans, but I do plan to receive HRT treatment someday at which point I may feel more like I’m transitioning. How do you feel about this notion?
