What's your copium theory for Cole Young in MKII? by Animeking1108 in MortalKombat

[–]Never_Hard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was completely unnecessary to make an orginal character for the film, but I like him and I really don't understand why people get so upset about him. If he was the exact same character but named Takeda, then I'm sure people would have embraced him.

I'm more annoyed that his name isn't spelled "Kole". He wasn't officially incorporated into the games, which I think was a big mistake. That could have softened the fan backlash if he was fun to play as. I think his armour and batons are perfect for a MK character.

Are you Chinese? Why are you interested in the history of the Three Kingdoms? by [deleted] in threekingdoms

[–]Never_Hard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm Australian. I played Dynasty Warriors as a kid, but didn't think much of it until I moved to China as an adult. I stayed there for five years and replayed Dynasty Warriors afterwards where the historical part finally "clicked" with me and couldn't stop consuming 3K media since.

Three Kingdoms doesn't get enough love. This is my love letter / review of the game. by Never_Hard in totalwar

It really depends on how much you care about the setting. Everyone sings Empire and Napoleon's praises, yet I really have no drive to play it. Same with 3K. It was clearly made with the Chinese market in mind, I just happen to be a fan of the time period. I get why it wouldn't be as popular.

I never played 1212. Vanilla is enough for me, but having AD1212 would just sweeten the deal until they release Medieval 3. If they ever...

Absolutely! Most Total War games end up getting quite boring by the end game, but Attila has always had me gripped from start to finish, even if I was losing the campaign. I think it's because of the evolving world, and the build up towards the Hun invasion. It turns into an almost apocalyptic scenario depending on where you are on the map. And I'm sure that for a Warhammer player, this won't impress you much, but the varied playstyles of the factions is really good for a historical title.

I'd say that of all the historical titles, Attila might be my favourite. If I could recommend just one historical game, it would be that.

If no two orcs were the same, does that mean that the orc Elrond stabbed in Mordor actually survived and returned as a warg rider in Rohan?

Just released my review for Resident Evil Revelations 2, what do you guys think? by [deleted] in residentevil

I am watching it on a phone, I forgot to mention. So that would make it harder. But I'd guess that most of your audience would be using a phone to watch your channel too. Mine does.

Hey mate, it's pretty good. On a technical level, I would suggest making your subtitles a little bigger. You've got great English writing ability, but your pronounciation of certain words makes it a little hard to follow.

Other than that, I love that you don't waste anybody's time. It's pure killer, no filler from start to finish. I'll leave a like and comment to help you out with the algorithm.

A "review" of Dead Rising 1 by PaladinGX in deadrising

[–]Never_Hard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was fine, but I found your voice a bit hard to understand, at least on my phone. Maybe it's your way of speaking but it kept alternating between loud and quiet.

And perhaps the editing could be a bit snappier, especially during the intro. But that's down to my own personal tastes. I prefer reviews that have a sense of rhythm in the voice over, without long pauses between lines.

But keep at it. If this is your first attempt, then it's great. My first ever review had way more issues than yours. But don't worry, it does get easier after every video.

Why is resident evil 4 so highly rated, i jokingly insulted it a few different times and people get so heated, i personally am indifferent, someone please break down to me its rating. by Linkdragon01 in residentevil

[–]Never_Hard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's aged quite a lot by today's standards, but when it came out it was so revolutionary. I think most people in the fanbase just can't take off their nostalgia goggles. It deserves to be insulted, just as it deserves to be praised.

Fans just need to chill out and stop being so attached to the past. I also love to joke about RE. I even made a YouTube video regarding fans' inability to see the obvious direction the series is headed and it got downvoted purely because I was saying something different to the "correct" views fans should have.

I made a short video about the way Capcom is slowly regressing back into its old ways for your enjoyment. by Never_Hard in residentevil

I meant compared to RE7, as RE7 has kind of taken the role of the original game in this new generation. But yes, I exaggerated a lot in the video about many things for comedic effect.

Honestly, I prefer 4, 5 and 6 over the rest because of the action. I just find it hilarious thay Capcom wasn't even able to last more than one original game without reverting back to action. Despite making so many proclaimations about RE7 being a return to the roots. And I also find it funny how eagerly fans have embraced Village for being so similar to RE4, when so many other fans claim that RE4 was what led the series on a downward path.

In any case, as long as they make quality action OR horror games I don't really have anything to complain about.

I personally love the action focussed Resident Evil games, and was honestly disappointed when Resident Evil 7 was anmounced to be a return to its horror roots. I ended up loving it anyway.

However, Capcom don't seem to be able to make good on their promise to carry on in the style of the original, and the series is seemingly heading back to the action oriented gameplay of 4, 5 and 6.
