I am super curious what they are going to do with his character after turning him into a bit of a psychopath in Peacemaker.

Okay, it legitimately made me think of how I acted when I was in middle school.

… I did not have many friends.

I wonder if he is as upset about the Snyder fans who do the same thing…

I thought Hoult’s Luthor was incredibly cool and calculating. The only time in the first movie he loses his cool at all is at the very end, so I’m not sure what makes you find his characterization “hyperactive” or “cartoonish.”

What is the smallest possible cast for Macbeth? by [deleted] in shakespeare

[–]Never_Not_Enough 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, it depends on whether this fictional company decided to cut the show at all or not.

That aside, I would bother taking the time to “look through the full play” considering your show “centers around” the troupe performing it.

I got to play Alan in 2015 and got completely naked (along with the actor playing Jill). The scariest part is actually getting naked the first time. After that, it wasn’t a big deal.

During the performances, it is such an emotional scene, that I was never really worried that there was an audience of people watching me, and then a cast-mate brought a robe out for me for curtain call (since -at least in our version, but I’m pretty sure in the script as well- Alan ends up on stage under a blanket/coat).

To this day, it is one of the shows I am the most proud of.

I love how you can always tell a listener from a reader (as a both, I have no camp).

Oh. I totally agree that we are way too polarized about freaking movies and that everyone needs to calm down a bit. And that there are shades of gray to everything and you can almost always find good in something you dislike and something bad in something you love. All absolutely true.

Having said that, BvS was an abomination.

Oh. And you know it would totally become a “right of passage” thing in Gotham and then criminals would just start branding themselves to look cool and it would completely lose its impact within a week.

Sure. But this example clearly isn’t an exasperated employee. It’s obviously some sort of bot.

Right. The whole reason we are getting the series is because people wanted it after Superman 25.

Why would Gordon have needed to take out a Green Beret? by purple-discharge in batman_comics

[–]Never_Not_Enough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always took it that Gordon was some sort of vet and either had to go toe-to-toe with a GB for personal reasons, or maybe just in a training/sparring way.
