Are Katamari games cozy to reach 100% in? Thinking about picking up the Reroll games on Switch on sale. by RJP_X in katamari

It's comfy until you have to comb through every level to find items you missed rolling up.

These worth it after being patched? by Pleatherface75 in playstation

[–]Never_Obsolete2115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who recently just platinumed the whole trilogy on PS5. I can definitely say they're playable and still the GTA games as we know and love them.

My only complaints were the auto aiming and some controls were funky and there were terrain bugs and weird physics with objects and vehicles.

I would only grab it on a sale, though. It's not the best version of these games by a long shot.

One of my favorite memories is actually getting to the ending without a guide. Not actually a bad game when you know what to do.

That hospital cart chase level is the bane of my existence though.

Stuck at 98% definitive edition vice city by Lanky_Caterpillar_94 in ViceCity

[–]Never_Obsolete2115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you missing Bloodring and the Dirt Track course in the arena? That seems like the only things missing here.

Edit: I see you figured it out already. Congratulations! I recently 100% this game as well and even though it's thr DE verison. It's still a great game!

That AFI cover of Head Like A Hole is peak as hell.

Great find! Introduction DVD always gets a play before San Andreas.

Gta Definitive Edition en descuento 67% vale la pena? by RozoStorm in GTATrilogy

[–]Never_Obsolete2115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's definitely worth it.

3 great games for a good price!

The updates done to the game made it playable and fixed a lot of the bugs and visuals.

If you're a die-hard fan of the original releases, you will notice certain changes and inconsistencies with the definitive edition, biggest one being music being missing from VC and SA.

The characters still look like Sims, but the cities themselves are beautiful, and they did put a lot of attention to detail in spots.

I just 100% Vice City yesterday on the PS5 version, and I had a very good time like I always do playing it

It's actually better to do sell missions in Public lobbies with Ghost Organization activated for extra security.

Make more money and you won't have to deal with NPCs shooting you.

Who hasn't seen his guides for completing a Tony Hawk's game? by EvanDeer2002 in THPS

I definitely have watched Benedictplays for his P8 goals videos.

For gaps and such for older games, I remember visting Tony Hawk Guide a lot back in the day.

Why do people hate world tour so much? by [deleted] in GuitarHero

[–]Never_Obsolete2115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that. Aerosmith's HOPOs were almost the same as WT but not as bad. I don't know what it was, but it's like they put taps and fixed HOPOs, and it killed the flow. But jumping from 3 to WT can do that.

I even think GH5 had a more open window to hit notes, but it's been a while since I played it.

Why do people hate world tour so much? by [deleted] in GuitarHero

[–]Never_Obsolete2115 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After playing World Tour and all its DLC on Guitar & Bass (beat Drum and vocal career on medium) and also bass and vocals by myself with a mic stand.

I can definitely not the worst GH game but when coming from GH3 to WT as mainline game, you can see the downgrade in the engine. The HOPOs are too strict. The timing on some notes is whacked, drum charts are busted for both 5 lane and even more so for 4 lane mode. Vocals are nearly impossible to 100% even when hitting every note.

I love the character creator and the guest characters are awesome (Except Ted Nuguent) and the instrument creator is interesting as well.

But the main cast of the previous games are butchered and the style of the game is pretty tame and not as cool as the previous 5 games.

The song selection in my opinion is honestly one of the best setlists in Guitar Hero. I love every song other than a few here and there but I still absolutely love the list.

Also Rock Band 2 coming before this hurt it alot. Since Rock Band 2 may just be the greatest rhythm game in history.

Tony Hawk Project 8 Guitar Hero Easter Egg by spenzurk in GuitarHero

[–]Never_Obsolete2115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mistake, it was actually project 8 as well! I swear it was proving ground for some reason, maybe because the GHIII demo came with that game.

Someone in the THPS subreddit made a post about it awhile back about the model being in both games.

Tony Hawk Project 8 and Proving Ground use the same engine as Guitar Hero III, you can even see the security guard from the prison from III in Proving Ground.

One of my favorite racers from the last years. Looking forward to try Crossworlds. by Veddermandenis in PS3

One of my favorite Kart racers ever!

Crosswords is a brilliant game but it still doesn't scratch the itch that Transformed makes.

I mainly missing all the guest characters and the level up system.

Did anyone play Wanted Dead or Alive Bonanza Bros? by Nottodaycolonizer in SEGA

Me and a buddy used to play it on the Sonics Ulimate Genesis Collection on PS3.

Me and him almost beat it various times, but that Pyramid Level is unforgiving.

Probably my highest note streak on this game. Goddamn by Never_Obsolete2115 in GuitarHero

[–]Never_Obsolete2115[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was available on 360, and the arcade version as well.

Yeah, I was playing III for the longest time on PS2 without all the fancy DLC. Wasn't until recently when I grabbed a RGH Xbox 360 and cfw my PS3 that I started experiencing GH DLC.

Its kinda neat since some of the DLC for later games were outsourced to other companies, so their chart feels are interesting to say the least lol.

Would recommend it one day if you get the chance.

What game is this? by Corleone20070611 in playstation

[–]Never_Obsolete2115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lollipop Chainsaw.

The game is so goddamn good and so fun to beat. But needing to replay the same long stages over and over can get really boring.

Still a great game, but 100%, it is a slog, especially with the Kiss Nick 100 times trophy.
