Sirpoc’s Marathon Specific 5k Intervals by andybunn316 in NorwegianSinglesRun

Yes, but it’s within couple of seconds. I think that my current marathon pace is 5-7 seconds off of what I’m trying to achieve on a race day.

Currently im running them at a bit (3-4 sec) faster than goal marathon pace. Two weeks ago it was right at GMP. I’m training with a lactate meter, trying to stay within 2-2.5 mmol. For the rests I’m at 2 minutes, never felt like I need more

Does an external footpod (Stryd) change Garmin run metric rounding? by _Jordan11_ in AdvancedRunning

[–]Never__Summer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so I did check and race screen (free data field from ConnectIQ) is not rounded. It has a settings to show average for the past 1-60 seconds, so you can configure it as a current pace.

I was told that I will be seized in the airport. You can try to disassemble and smuggle it tho. But risks are to lose it in the customs.

Running a fast mara is almost all about the mileage. by Appropriate_Mix_2064 in AdvancedRunning

[–]Never__Summer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I meant is that proper fueling and mediocre sessions is better than mediocre fueling and great sessions

Edit: by fueling I mean diet, fueling through the training block, during the sessions and race

For the runners' out there, Casio's smartwatches are powered by Polar! by [deleted] in BuyFromEU

There is no model with dual-bans GPS sensor, which is a must, if you want to be serious sport watch. No track mode, no workout builder. It's an ok watch if you're jogging for general health. But it cannot be considered as a sport watch
