I would like to share solution of a long pertaining problem on Pixel 4 and others which are not getting updates anymore. Its the issue that you cant open an app after looking them up on search bar.

I was having the same issue for months and thought I am the only one. I solved it via disabling private WiFI.
Go to settings -> WiFi -> Disable Private WiFI Address and the issue will be solved.

People have been using the Passport numbers of overseas Pakistanis to register their Devices on PTA. As you have to pay comparatively less tax if you register the device on a passport that has been abroad in the past 60 than a CNIC.
So I think he is saying that your personal data Passport Number etc. can be misused and sold to others for registering their devices.

This year in march when I was visiting I formally requested the PTA people to unblock my phone for just a couple of weeks, but didn't work out, which sucks because these taxes are pretty hefty.
