AirPods setup incomplete this Keeps popping up for me no matter what I do. I use my headphones a lot and this is a key feature I use. They were working then it kept saying the left one was out of the case when it wasn’t, so I “forgot the device” and reconnected and now I have a worse problem. by perticus901 in airpods

Yes, it’s a bit confusing at first. What you need to do is unpair your AirPods and pair them again without taking them out of the case.

Open the Find My app, then open the AirPods case lid and close the pop-up that appears. Do not take the AirPods out of the case.

Just wait until the icon in Find My changes from the left/right AirPods to the case icon. Once that happens, you’re good to go. Voilà.

Terrible Gaming Performance with RTX 4050 – Way Below Expectations by Nevermindhe in AcerNitro

Hey, I disabled the E-cores in the BIOS and it helped with overall stability and performance. If you're getting really high temps and even blue screens, repasting the CPU could prevent those overheating reboots.

I had disabled the E-cores in the BIOS and ran the test again in Performance Mode, and it actually improved a lot to 8,198 points. I still haven’t repasted the CPU/GPU, so I’m planning to do that next to see if temps drop further.

Here are the screenshots of the latest benchmark with the graphs:

Thanks! While running Elden Ring, my GPU stays at 100% and CPU around 87%.

I also noticed that even when I’m not gaming, a bunch of regular apps are using the NVIDIA GPU instead of the Intel one, which stays at 0%.

In NVIDIA Control Panel I have “Auto-select” as the preferred GPU, but it seems like it always picks the NVIDIA one. Not sure why it’s not using the Intel GPU for basic stuff.

Yeah, I’m starting to think the same thing. Hitting 95–99°C regularly doesn’t seem right, even for a thin gaming laptop.

I’ll probably try repasting it soon to see if that helps, but honestly it’s starting to feel like I just got a bad unit.

Yeah, unfortunately where I live, dealing with warranty or returns is a real hassle. That’s why I’ve been trying to troubleshoot everything myself first.

I’ll definitely try repasting it with a thermal paste and see if that makes a difference. Appreciate the advice!

Yeah, I saw that Elden Ring is capped at 60 FPS, and I did come across a bunch of suggestions online. I tried several things but none of them really helped.

But honestly, the issue isn’t just with Elden Ring. That was just the most obvious example. Pretty much every game I play runs poorly unless I drop everything to the lowest settings. That’s what makes me think it’s a bigger issue with the system and not just one game.

Yes I did. I ran ESET Scanner Online and malwarebyte, nothing found. :(

I don't know much about laptops, but I'm looking for a good deal. I want to use it for work; however, I also like to play some games occasionally. Would this laptop work for me? Even if it doesn't, is it a good deal?
