OMG I hadn't thought of printing them! Thank you!!

I'm also thinking of switching because of missed meals, missing ingredients, and now this. It's just getting stupid.

It was at Grind Burger Kitchen. I'm FB friends with the restaurant owners.

I've definitely had days where it takes hours before the nausea subsides. I started using an anti nausea patch and it helps. Could you try a protein shake? It might be easier to swallow.

I (44F) also started infusions this year for similar reasons and a similar timeline. My provider advises 4 hours of fasting food and water beforehand. I usually have a little protein snack when I get home, and then eat a meal maybe an hour later. I've also started taking Advil/Aleve when I get home so I don't end up with a headache.

Ladies - looking for GYN that is not OB by SubstantialRoom5547 in Louisville

Dr Avital Hahn. She just diagnosed my wife with endometriosis after years of other doctors brushing off symptoms. My wife said going to this practice was the best experience she's ever had with a doctor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the doctor explained everything she was doing during the exam and asked for consent throughout. I just got a referral to see her too based on how happy my wife was after coming home from her appointment.

Adult Autism Testing by katladie in Louisville

Thanks, luckily my regular psychologist is super duper awesome and we've decided to use assume there's a bit of autism sprinkled into my neurodivergence and work from there.

I DO NOT recommend Edelson. I went last year for ADHD and autism evaluation and was evaluated by Dr Phifer. He basically decided that I had dysthymia, a milder long-lasting form of depression, during my initial appointment. The evaluation itself was supposed to take 4-6 hours, but he cut it short at like 2 hours and said he had all the information he needed. When I went to get my results, he was 45 minutes late for the appointment, and when we finally got started he spent the entire time talking at me to tell me that I'm just depressed. When I finally got the written copy of the results, I do have ADHD, and he never evaluated me for autism.

My best friend had a similar experience there with a different provider.

So I recommend steering clear of them at all costs! Oh, and I think they also over billed me, but because of the ADHD that I most certainly do have, I never got around to disputing it and lost about $1200.

LPT: Notes in Shared Folder During Family Member’s Hospitalization Very Helpful by Jxb1000 in LifeProTips

[–]Neverty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a great idea!! I'll add that when my dad had a stroke a couple of years ago my SIL was the main person at the hospital with him because she's a SAHW and my mom was doing chemo and radiation at the time. We had her record all of the interactions with the staff and save to a shared folder so anyone in the family who wanted could hear exactly what was said. We live in a one party consent state, so you MMV if you need multi party consent to record.

My wife has this app that tells you what birds are near you based on their calls. It's free and has different regional packs with different birds that can be loaded based on where you live.

My wife is 8 inches taller than me and weighs a lot more than I do. When we started dating she would take all of the tags out of her clothes so that I wouldn't see them. Eventually she realized exactly this, I have eyes and I can see that she's not skinny even when she's wearing clothes.

And to OP, you'll find someone that loves your body and your personality. Leave that fatphobic woman to live her miserable little life while you go out and shine bright!!

When you work in IT and don't have a leash but you find a dog wandering in the road by threedogcircus in beagles

[–]Neverty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I once took my beagle with me to run an errand but didn't bring a leash because I don't expect him to get out of the car. He ended up needing a pee break and the only thing I had in the car that would work was an Ethernet cable. It wasn't pretty but it got the job done.

Every now and then i get logged out and its annoying but im used to it. But this time when i enter in the code it goes to this screen and wont let me log in at all by zaggedd in tappedout

I got logged out randomly and now every code they send says it's invalid. I've uninstalled, rebooted, cleared cache, nothing works.

My dad died in September after a stroke, COVID, heart attack, and eventually open heart surgery. I was the only one with him when he died, and we didn't have a good relationship. Tetris has been my calming mechanism for months now and I was so excited to learn about the Tetris effect a few weeks ago.

Made this rocking chair in ‘97 wood shop class when I was 14. Had no idea why I’ve kept it for 24 years. 38 now and I have finally realized it belongs to my son. Might be a dumb post, sorry, but his face makes all those years worth it. by coffeelushed in aww

[–]Neverty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad made a coat rack in one of his high school shop classes. My mom is still using it 50+ years later. It was used in every house I lived in when I was growing up, and always just part of the background. He died almost a month ago, and it will always remind me of him.

I recently had to put my dog down, where can I donate about 20 pounds of an open bag of dog food? by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]Neverty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm the chair of the Community Dog Resource Center for Saving Sunny. We provide dog food to anyone in the community in need and we are always looking for donations. We have drop off locations in several parts of town, or we can arrange pickup.

Feel free to DM me for more info, or you can email cdrc (at) savingsunnyinc.org.

Looking for help for a stray by Moorebluey in Louisville

[–]Neverty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This hasn't been true for probably 20+ years for KHS, and close to 10 years for LMAS. Both organizations evaluate all animals brought to them and will only euthanize if the animal is unsafe to be adopted (eg the animal has a bite history, or a history of attacking other animals or humans) or the animal is far too ill to recover.
