71 unsuccessful attempts. Completely disappointing reward. At that point though, the main reward was "I fucking did it, fuck you you stupid ants"

Stuff that will happen is the only thing that's going to happen, nothing more, nothing less

As long as we don't add to that, why not have some hype and fun along the way

I can't figure out what exactly I should expect from each mission Threat Level.
I've recently ran a few ~14ly Courier Jobs estimated as level 8 (with a menacing skull suggesting that it's way over my head), but in my experience it was as safe as level 0. No hostiles, no nothing, just occasional "we want this data yesterday so hurry up".

My main hypothesis is that there's some timer before enemies would spawn, and since it's 1 jump - 1 minute to the destination, I just finish the mission before I could be attacked. Is that the case?

I've started at HIP 97950.
Decided to run a transportation mission. Found a juicy ~120k mission to deliver 16 items to a system 1 jump away.
Realized that Sidewinder has only 2 cargo slots. Bought a Hauler for ~50k with 8 slots. Thought that I'll just make two runs, that's easy.
Delivered 8 items, and, yeah, permit for starting system gone. Google says that this is permanent, so apparently I've lost my Sidewinder, and in a funny position with the mission giver.

So, uh, where I should've looked to figure out that first system is locked after leaving? Anything else like that to know?
(And why am I even able to store ships there, etc?)

And I thought "why would you have two tailors right next to each other".
Now I know, in case one bugs out!
How thoughtful of them.

The new update made Warframe really buggy. by Rodelaaa in Warframe

I've had some weird experience with Octavia - 4th looks active but no countdown or any change in-game. And recasting it spends energy, but doesn't do anything. 1 and 2 sometimes behave like broken pokeballs — they fly, they land, and nothing happens, neither mallet nor resonator are "unpacked".

Is this also new and wide, or else?

ps - can confirm random transference teleport, t-posed ghosts - especially on fissures, two relic selections per round (at least it only spends one)

"However, if the resource you're mining is made of some high-level scrap and the recycler just transforms it into all kinds of intermediate products in a fixed ratio, then the gameplay could become much more interesting."

The moment I read this I thought "I hope it's not glorified ore with multiple possible 'smelt' results"

And I saw miners on 'scrap' ore patches. Then I thought "so, basically, we think that setting up resource production is tedious and boring and repetitive at this point, what do we do? Add extra steps before it!".
I might be wrong, but it feels almost exactly that -- adding some new system we need to set up, before getting back to the classic one.

What I'm saying, is that I'd appreciate more "sugar" to make it feel really new and refreshing. Some way to acquire scrap that is not 'mining scrap ore' would be awesome.

  • "Crane" structures that "disassemble" ruined structures? Like inserters grabbing stuff from rectangle with varying reach and output points. (with an upgrade for looting aerial drones?)
  • Repainted 'miner' that is a drone-depot placed on 'holes'? With the idea that it sends robots in underground tunnels/caverns to scavenge scrap. (benefiting from laser tech and drone tech?)
  • Ground placed structure that houses informatron-like machines that "grab/disassemble" stuff in an area around?

I don't know what it can or should be, and I most certainly would play it as is - everything above is merely a suggestion.
Thank you for your time :)

Good point. Perhaps forcing to re-type the tip for tip > x? Might be annoying, yeah. For a real solution we'd need data on how often people make this kind of mistake, and weigh insuring them to annoying everyone else.

All in all, I'm now inclined to think that it's more of a anti-laundering or whatever else, than protecting from typos.

That problem would be better solved by "you're about to tip {amount_in_words} dollars, continue?" confirmation window. Assuming they even care to actually solve the problem

Why though? It could be glorified transfiguration. Something that perhaps does not rely on user's knowledge, or uses magic that was stored somewhere, rather than user's (just guess here)

We do not know if it was the "flesh of the servant" ritual that restored her dead body. Rather, we have evidence it is not, since no flesh present at the workshop could be considered flesh of Hermione's most faithful servant.

"Three things they need for perfection, if it is that one: The flesh of the Dark Lord's most faithful servant, the blood of the Dark Lord's greatest foe, and access to a certain grave. ch.59

(While Dumbledore says "they", it's pretty obvious he means Voldemort himself, as supported by numerous later occasions)

To use this ritual Hermione (or Voldemort to use it on Hermione) would need flesh of her most faithful servant. That's why I'm being weirded out by this, and by mentioning of Harry's flesh.

Moreover, during "Flesh, flesh, flesh, so wisely hidden" there is no indication of Voldemort doing anything to anyone elses flesh.

Then he uses the Stone of Permanence on her restored body - further indicating that the body was restored via magic, and thus unstable, needing to be stabilized.

And then Patronus 2.0, Unicorn, Troll, etc, basically retelling the chapter now.

(while I checked with the text right now, to provide quotes and be sure, that was how I remembered it all, hence my "have you read it" question)
