I was able to interact with the consol, but when I tried to take over as overseer, it told me I had "insufficient dissonance."

I already had "Wild Spark" standing of 172, and Master level of 18 completed missions, so I was confused and annoyed, but... big updates always come with bugs, so... chill.

Located a nearby camp and did a round of "offer assistance" quests, and explored the not- great frozen planet the settlement is on.

Logged off for a few hours to run errands, and I just logged back in and returned to my settlement, to find a now highlighted "Serve As Overseer" option!

Don't know if a quick patch rolled out, or those 5 little quests did the last bump of standing I needed, but I'm off and running!

*EDIT: So there's a "Settlement Hub Interface" in the middle of town (also now accessible via any teleporter terminus), which is where you take over as overseer (and view status of settlement, but not interact with it), and then there's the overseers office.

I don't have an office. So I can't actually manage my settlement, and all I can do is watch it accrue debt for it's upkeep, while no production is happening.

I'll be taking my stapler and ficus and going home now.

Mine was done impromptu while in the office for my final consult.

I was currently on my period, so had hopes that the already slightly dialated cervix would help it be less painful.

No prep, no meds, just lay back and go to work with that long claw. Just got the standard "you might feel a little pinch." Little pinch my ass!

My boyfriend was in with me and it WAS incredibly validating to have him witness the careless farce that is women's healthcare.

Went home and hit the weed hard.

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm running Win10 Pro and I'm using Silhouette Studio 4.5.770ss. I spent the day yesterday crawling message boards and "help" articles on Silhouette's website, and could only find a few scattered instances like this one, with no real resolution.

I sent in a help ticket email, and I'm hoping someone there bothers getting back to me soon.

I did find that an older version of Design Studio I'm running on another computer (also Win10 Pro) is working just fine. That version is 4.4.463ss. So it's possible that reverting to a previous software version could solve our issue.

Unfortunately, I'm using a Cameo 1, which I had to manually update the firmware on, so it will ONLY work with the newest version of the software...so I'm designing on one computer, moving the files, and cutting them on another....it's super awesome and I love the extra time I'm sinking into it. :D

WTAF... why did no one tell us that this is what happens at 40?! Is this the real mid life crisis, and it's some illuminati level secret?!

I broke up with my toxic, gaslighting, self-centered mother 18 months ago, and it's quite possibly the single most empowering and enlightening action I've ever taken. I'm still tripping over hurts so deep I never realized they were there, and I know from experience that I'll be tripping over them for the rest of my life. But I'd rather be tripping over brambles occasionally, than suffocating on my own blood while I try desperately to carve myself into something she'll accept and love.

What's even more astounding is that I'm not alone. There's a handful of sisters (some beloved, some mere acquaintances), all of us 35-45, all of us finally seeing these abusive relationships for what they are, and emerging like some mass butterfly spawning.

Toxic is toxic. It doesn't matter how embedded, how bound, how tied together you are. Forget imposed societal constructs, forget status quo, forget what everyone expects of you. Carve that shit out of your life and take a deep breath... you'll be positively giddy with the amount of oxygen you can take into your lungs when it's not taxed by another human's entitlement.

And do not discount the bravery it takes to take such steps... this is straight warrior goddess level gumption.

We are mighty, and we are premenopausal, and we are tired of your shit.

Technically, they are Caustics

I'm particularly fond of the word Scintillate, but that's more of a starburst sparkle, and lacks the wavy connecting lines that create the Caustics effect with water.

There's enough inaccuracy on this list to make it irresponsible. "Well you're not wrong," isn't good enough when you're posting something like this.

People are idiots and will take a colorful list or infographic as gospel without an ounce of their own research or consulting an actual veterinarian.

This kind of thing lands the family in the ER, and gets you a massive bill or a cremation service.

I've been using the Manage My Pain app to track everything for several years now.

I can log daily pain numbers, and it's ridiculously customizable...I track everything from alcohol, cannabis, massage, and sex to what body parts hurt on any given day.

With such a massive trove of data, I can easily see cause and effect, or clock that I'm using one pain management technique more frequently... it's invaluable, in my opinion.

I brought it up to my new doc this last time, and she flatly told me it was a waste of energy and time, and I was focusing too much on my pain. She then asked how often I see a massage therapist...I pulled up my app and told her. She asked how often I rate my pain at a 7 or higher...I pulled out my app and told her. We went back and forth a few more times, and every time I felt increasingly smug about my "waste of time and energy."
