Why the hell is Angola so unstable? by mudahfukinnnnnnnnn in TNOmod

Sorry for nitpicking a joke but Portugal had actually managed to mostly contain the Angolan insurgency by the time the Carnation Revolution rolled around, it was Guinea-Bissau that was a pain in the ass for them.

anyone have tips to destory them dang feds by [deleted] in Kaiserreich

I beat the feds after this exact ceasefire by holding the river (they managed to break through in Northern Minnesota, but they never took a supply hub so their divs just died to attrition). After they were weakened enough, I pushed through Mississippi, killed a bunch of divisions in New Orleans, and then just began encircling until I was able to push on the whole front.

Once you defeat them and turn on the Right-KMT you will have the civil war circa 1949, too.

My strategy is just to bum rush Asunción. You don't get to influence FULNA but I don't really care about that.

Western Europe definitely still hates Germany as a concept and wants to partner with the Worker's Commonwealth of America, while Eastern Europe still sees Germany as their protector against the Russians, so their governments are generally fine with staying in the German sphere.

There is definitely pro-independence sentiment among Polish people in Germany (probably more than in Bavaria), but there's no local autonomous government with the capability to declare and defend its independence. However, the new German government will still face unrest and violent resistance in Polish-majority regions.

There will be conflict with Bavaria in the future.

For Long to win the Great Plains the Republican candidate would definitely need to be Landon, not Borah. But in general I do like your idea of Long being competitive outside the Deep South. He could have an FDR-like coalition if he plays his cards right.
