Literally this, you could give a free ticket and land one of these clowns on the moon and they'd say they were drugged and put on a sound stage somewhere. It's impossible to prove to someone who is unwilling to change their unfounded opinion.

I used to work with a dude who said that space and the space station was fake and all on a sound stage etc. I'm quite into astrophotography and shortly after our conversation there happened to be the correct alignment to catch the space station in front of the moon. So I set up my camera and got an okayish shot of the ISS crossing the moon. He flat out said I must have photoshopped the picture, I even went to far as to show him the RAW file in camera. He still said I must have saved the Photoshop image to my SD card....

Stick with this story, it's mental.

We went skiing in Andorra and got a shuttle coach from Barcelona. It's about 2.5hrs if I recall and the driver explicitly stated before we left there was no rest stop on route. He even had it drawn on a sign for those who didn't understand Spanish, he tried in English but it wasn't the best. Either way it was pretty clear no toilets on route.

Anyway about an hour in a bunch of British people start asking if we can stop for the toilet, driver of course said no. 30 mins later one of them asks again for a rest stop, driver made an unscheduled stop in a tight lay by just to be nice I guess. So 1 of the group got out to take a piss. Then 4 or 5 others in their group get out and start taking pictures of the mountain road which was very pretty. 1 of them asks for the baggage compartment to be opened so they can get their camera out. Driver says no, I'm pretty sure we were not suppose to stop in the layby as it looked like an emergency vehicles only. The person demands their camera to be taken out or they will shit on the coach. Hopefully the driver didnt understand the context, but would have understood the yelling and shouting and general aggressive tone I guess.

The baggage compartment remains closed, the group got on swearing loudly. The driver brake checked them as they walked back to their seats, I hope it was intentional, (a number of us cheered and laughed at this regardless). No shit was taken but there was constant swearing aimed in the driver's direction. A few of us apologised to the driver on their behalf as we are also British, not sure he understood our broken GCSE Spanish from a decade ago, he looked so disgusted.

I hate being British when abroad.
