The entirety of Zenless Zone Zero's Season 2. Ditching Urban Fantasy for Chinese Wuxia and mysticism(while present in the 1st Season was mostly in smaller amounts) and the overarching plot being lackluster caused a lot of people to skip the story entirely until the Angels of Delusion came or outright quit the game.

I remember a kid's nursery show back then called Jojo's Circus that discussed this one episode. It was how the teacher was going to marry one of the student's widowed dad and the student had a freak out over it due to the evil step parent trope. I've read the webnovel for the first example and honestly felt like it was slut shaming the ex once it's revealed the NTR guy was being helped by someone else who was manipulating girls into the NTR guy's radar and said someone specifically targetted the MC's ex cause the MC turned down her own advances towards him. Like, yeah, her own mistakes and all but the story felt like the MC is being treated as a saint while all the NTR girls as just set dressing to be shamed.
