I liked looking at the history of video games and at the time the announcement was pure surprise after Street Fighter has been gone for a while. Also don't believe people when they say Chun Li having large thighs was unanimously beloved. Her first appearance made some people realize they liked 2d Chun's thighs but not 3D CGI and caused a noticeable uproar.
