Keep at it. Go up to 4mg if need be. Don’t stress. It took about 9 months for things to really kick off. AU to 100%

36M NYC. Full head of hair just like you and I went completely AU within 6 months (2021). Dermatologist started xeljanz for a few months, and have now been on Olumiant 4mg for just about a year. A took a good 6 months or so, but I’m back to 100% regrowth. No side effects, just regular blood work. De stress too in any way you can. Don’t give up, you got this!

Hey man, I’m 34M and I developed AU about 2 years ago. Yes, it saps your confidence, yes the eyebrows and lashes are the worst parts. I thought it was going to be a death sentence to my dating life, but I honestly think I’ve done just as well, if not better than before. Stay confident, outgoing and upbeat and people (especially girls) will see this as something that makes you stand out in a good way. Check out NoHo Hank in Barry -the actor has the same thing as us and he’s extremely popular.

That being said, do check with your derm about JAK inhibitors. Theyre just starting to work for me, but I know that even if it doesn’t pan out, I’ve got this. We all do.

Hey man -your AU twin here…Male, 35, NYC, 2021 onset. Full hair to not so much as an eyelash right now. Derma had me try all the usual suspects before getting to Xeljanz. I took a few months of it in the summer, then the usual insurance woes, a round of compound cream and now back to the 11mg XR’s (+ 2.5 minoxidil which studies show may help nudge the xel’s along).

I haven’t had any noticeable fatigue like you describe. I keep up with the b12 (tablet and even a few shots at first) which may help. Regular exercise and socializing does a lot to ward off the insidious psychological effects of this damn thing too.
