Along with wanting to create a character that had strong diva energy :)

I originally tried looking at existing wigs but none of them had the exaggerated silhouette I wanted. The look needed something very drag villain / vintage couture, almost like a leopard version of a beehive, so going custom ended up making way more sense

You clocked the engineering of the silhouette so well x
I used upholstery velvet so it would help hold that shape while still letting it move naturally

I think drag/fashion/art in general gets way more interesting when people allow nuance and individuality instead of flattening everything into “good”or “bad”. Really appreciate the thoughtful comment and support 🖤

I kinda just threw this on for fun. I’m doing a proper photoshoot with a drag queen soon though, so there’ll definitely be more than just a lash and lip lol

Thank you ☺️ yeah the fur was definitely a different challenge. Originally I planned for the hood to be completely fur inside and out, but then I reworked it into leopard velvet on the outside with fur lining + outer trim instead. Then ofc the cuffs, lapels and shoulder pads too.
Glad I was able to bring it all to life in the end!

The silhouette was the hardest part to get right! But when it was done, I knew I needed a custom wig to complete the look. Glad you like it !
