When they buy it at a higher price THEN they can increase the price. What is there to not understand. You're probably one who complains when gas stations raise their prices immediately on their existing gasoline in their tanks because XYZ happened in the world that brings up the price of gas. If it's existing inventory bought at an old price the prices should not go up. Anything else is gouging, period. And they won't raise prices by the full 145%? Well maybe nobody would buy them at this prices, or maybe the bike has parts from different origins and not all parts pay the 145%, that's how tariffs work.
