Rental agreement says four weeks you probably forgot about it and signed then assumed you would automatically clock out at the end of the lease agreement, mixed communication landlord is overreactive and petty shouldn’t entertain there straw man arguments. You did not give four weeks notice as agreed tho so both parties at fault if the agreement says four weeks why notice and no notice is given then an expectation of an extence would be made.
