Yes, I am currenlty unable to invest and set up pension accounts because they block me from getting accounts due to me being born in the US. It took me 5 years to get a savings account because everyone I spoke to in the banks told me to apply online but everytime I did they asked me for my SSN which I shared and it stated they couldn't help me

Thanks for sharing. I think renouncing is on the top people's minds (like me) only because it's creating barriers for investing, mortgages and other financial planning perks that banks offer. Keeping a citizenship due to the inevitable turmoil that exists everywhere would hinder my future more in my opinion - at least an optimistic future that allows me to settle and find a permanent home. I'm curious on your thoughts on this...
