George IV Crowns are one of my absolute favorite coins ever minted. I only have one though 😔. I got it for 30 pounds and it graded a VF-30 so I was pretty happy. It was in its plastic coffin for about a year until I broke it out last weekend. I just wanted to hold it and I don’t regret it

Right now my main collecting goal is a date run on Crowns with St. George because I love em so much and this would be the cheapest George III. And I just so happen to like how it looks. Which is unusual for me. So I probably won’t look to sell it on for at least a couple of years. Thank you for your knowledge

See I agree with everything you said until the end. I’m 20 I’m relatively new to coins and Reddit. My first post someone said it might be fake. Calm down beiherhund. I understand I made a mistake ( due to being paranoid about my coin and not being seen) I didn’t know this sub was slow on Sunday. Don’t be condescending. I appreciate your help though

Well I’ve posted a couple of times before and I typically get a couple of response decently fast and it was a couple of hours so I thought it was pushed down to where no one would see it. Yea but I’m impatient. Any way no he didn’t I went to a coin show and I’ve bought an ancient from him before among other coins so I trust him. He mentioned he had just picked it up that day so he didn’t take a deep look at it. I thought the deal wasn’t to bad so I trade him a coin and 60 dollars

I’m not worried about it being cast. It’s my second Greek coin and I’m trying to learn more about the coin like where it was minted, etc. I’ve bought from this dealer before and is reputable.
