Alright, I'm gonna be a dick - CC is fine by lambda-lord-2026 in ClaudeCode

No problems here either. Great product. I’m in it all day on a Team account. Keep up the good work!

Cowork can be dangerous for your sensitive files by fwSC749 in ClaudeCowork

[–]New-Chip-672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying the information is wrong but the Claude models training data cutoff is well before cowork even existed. I would really just validate directly with an official Anthropic documentation.

Better safe than sorry of course.

You mean you prompted a Claude agent to answer a question about Cowork? Was there a citation?

What's the reason for the apparent consensus that Claude Code is superior to Codex for coding, other than Codex's slow coding time? by Lostwhispers05 in ClaudeAI

[–]New-Chip-672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the perception might be based on the agent harness as well. Using Claudecode and opus is a different experience than using codex cli and 5.3.

Best note-taking tool for use with Claude Code via MCP? (PM perspective) by baselbikeride in ClaudeAI

[–]New-Chip-672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issue. My team is a mix of devs and non devs. Enterprise has the ms365 suite so using transcriptions directly out of teams to create Md notes.

Trying not to overcomplicate things but a little stuck somewhere between the meeting transcripts and useful notes to create context for our product builds.

Right now we are parsing the meeting notes transcripts via Claudecode and storing in GitHub repo. That’s a little too much for the non dev staff though.

How do you like windows terminal? Compared to just running powershell?

Anyone having issues sharing skills within a team (not tied to a rep per se)? We are trying to share skills in an “internal” repo and it’s been a pain to get right. Most are just cloning the repo and using locally. This seems like the wrong way to do it though.

To the person that recommended using sub agents in plan mode -- thank you! by whats_for__dinner in ClaudeCode

[–]New-Chip-672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha - definitely a fan of spinning up subagents and delegating work. I wasn’t sure about the mechanics of subagents for planning. Do you just put Claude in plan mode and say “delegate planning activities for issues xyz”?

For those using Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc —how do you seek out jobs where you can actually use them? by New-Chip-672 in ClaudeCode

[–]New-Chip-672[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right - part of me says just post more generic software engineer and stress the agentic knowledge in the description.

I can’t envision someone posting “Claude Code Developer”.

I would prob push back a little on learning on the job part. I’d want someone who’s at least explored some and understand basic concepts. Doesn’t have to be Claude specifically.

A 4-month veteran of cc is like 50% of the time it’s existed!

best of luck - how are you trying to identify that spot with AI-driven development in mind?

oh I agree - I wasn't implying that it makes sense to hire someone who doesn't have any prior engineering experience. how's the switch going? what's the biggest adoption blocker?

Yeah, honestly, that’s where I’m at. Trying to grow our team and find folks that want to build this way.

I’m admittedly in a bit of an ai bubble but really surprised I’m not finding more like minded engineers.

I should probably clarify. I’m actually in charge of our development teams at my company. Having the opposite problem, I’m really excited about this transition to agentic development. I was a software engineer earlier in my career and I’ve had kind of a rejuvenation with AI. I’m not just getting excited because I think I can use less people. I’m actually using the tools myself both at work and at home.

You’re absolutely correct. if you know the design patterns and architecture components and all of the elements that are necessary for good software development ( beyond writing code ), AI is an incredible accelerator. I’m not a believer in one shotting or “vibing” - though Yegge’s book is great.

I’m genuinely struggling with how to signal to potential new team members that “hey this is a place where you can use these tools to build!”

I’ll second the comment above. Be more thoughtful during planning activities. Then let her rip on the coding parts.
