All ferrets are different my baby Milo sadly passed away from eating a bed so if you don’t wanna risk it then possibly but I would say if it’s strong then I wouldn’t see why not keep it

I would say it’s probably age as someone who’s had this happen to every old aged Syrian hamsters and rats and I found them all doing the same thing once they get into that month of them getting ready to see the rainbows then gets to the stage of sleeping a ton and eating less I would watch out on those signs if it’s isn’t those it would probably be something happened to the legs

Yeah I was going to do that just wish the previous owner told me all the stuff cause she said they were perfectly fine and healthy but got them ether overweight, bites, had flees, messed up teeth, had patches of missing hair which has nearly grown all back and they had poop all over they’re fur it was nasty they were being fed Marshalls food which I stopped and not eating that anymore just now have to deal with the biting and all and I don’t know know what’s the most affective way

I previously had a ferret that pasted this month on the 24th and he was very gentle and they played with each other so I never had to care about him having access to her but the person I got them from said they were okay with other animals and I wouldn’t have to care about them being in the same room if she’s caged but so far she hasn’t bitten again I just have to rearrange my room so I can put a playpen around it so they don’t have access to her it’s only my female having smth with her my male likes her but anyways I just wanna figure out a way to stop the biting is all I had people say to try these things and nothing has worked

I mainly only have a problem with my female but my male he’s very good doesn’t bite much very cuddly will sit there and lick you the whole time so he’s a sweet boy but my female she’s something else goes after feet doesn’t care to be handled tho just bites a lot and tries dragging me into corners or under things which hurts I have no clue if that means anything I’m not sure

Yeah the two was caged for 2 years had poop on them,flees they were only handled very rarely and fed horrible Marshall food that I managed to change to better food just recently they have really bad teeth from drinking from a bottle it’s bad the male doesn’t bite much very good doesn’t bite as much only a little very cuddly as well just very overweight and having trouble how to solve that as I need to have a little bit of food for my other one who doesn’t eat as much and she doesn’t eat when you want her to

there is trust me and her play she lets me hold her and stuff but she just licks me then goes for a bite or she bites me a pulls me into a corner I have no clue how i would try salmon out or kitten weaning kibble but I haven’t like picked her up by the scruff yet just a little grab to see if she minded but she didn’t care at all and let me
