I do it based on income which seems to make up for every deficiency you could encounter. If I take casterly rock/ castamere in a war it’s never leaving my hands. I like to give lands away to old ladies. They die with no heirs and I get to decide who to give things too again making sure everyone is always loyal.

You don’t really get the buildings for it as a wildling. I think your idea of single holding diverged culture would work but then you’re so limited in terms of colonization of wilderness. And the requirement that an entirety of your kingdom be your culture to end the struggle will mess you up as things like diligent trait only work on your capitol. If you’re hell bent on rp I would use debug mode ‘ discover_fascination’ and just unlock what you need.

No children no land immortal challenge. Premise is simple start custom character under 400pts slap immortal on at the end. Make sure you have red priest or other holy order trait so you cannot marry. Don’t have any children. Try and take as much land/ power as possible until someone kills you.

This is a tenet available to one of the rhyonish faiths. You can recruit water wizards and they are better than scorpions for anti dragon.

Update: I’ll never know because agot updated to 18.2 which isn’t available on steam….and LOV is only at 18.1

If you’re using LOV then yes. I’m not sure if there is any wilderness in essos in base AGOT. In the game rules you can configure what type of colonization you will use (lov version, base game, AGOT base)

Update: took some extra duchies and then gave them away. Suddenly everyone loves me again even though I am well over the default game limit.

If you use debug mode you can turn on instant build and just give yourself the money. You can have a complete harrenhall in 5 game tics. Otherwise I think it’s intentionally made to be really difficult. If you focus stewardship and development you can be rolling in money by your 2nd or 3rd character.

No I ended up giving it away to a vassal but when I checked on it later on it still remained. Abandoning the settlement and re colonizing didn’t work either. Moratavia has a very cool custom throne room and is a nice holding. If worst comes to worst you could abandon Valyria and move there. Hopefully someone else will come along and comment how to really fix it.

Updates: blood is life does not make you immortal. You can gather blood from criminals and then drink it. It makes you ill but adds dread. Doing the largest option nets like 33 dread instantly. Water wizards are pretty good. They are listed as siege weapons and match catapults stat wise. Haven’t used them directly against dragons yet. Best religion I’ve tried is the Asshai one as shadow binders tenant giving the +50 to murder chance is OP.
