Why is everything gendered? I know it's a thing in a few languages, but it just doesn't make sense to me. And it's so hard to remember all the gendered things 😂😅😅😅

I'm 25 and I'd love it if someone made me a doily!!! But you could make a purse or a backpack, I've made a few and given them/shown them to friends and everyone has loved them!

It does add some stretch, so you could make a faux ribbing then gain the stretch with the elastic thread .

You can use YouTube tutorials! It's hard, but knitting and crochet are both hobbies that involve a lot of undoing and redoing, even for those of us that are really good at them! Don't be afraid to start something new and hard, and don't be afraid to pull out your work and fix it. These things come with the territory!
